Greene and Tomlinson need to be the focus point to the offense in this game.

I've attended two games like this @ the Meadowlands where the weather was just atrocious.

It was either the end of the Walton years or during the Coslet years but we lost to the Colts 6-0 in freezing rain. That was just awful. I think the Colts played Jack Trudeau at QB that day.

I seem to recall an Eagles game in the pooring rain too, that was the Coslet years as well. I felt bad because we took my friend but we were getting drilled at the half so my dad decided to leave and somehow we made it back down to Toms River before the end of the game.

I also was at the Seattle game 2 years ago and that was terrible on every level. On the bright side it is a really nice stadium those Sea Chickens play in. Nothing like watching Seneca Wallace beat you in the freezing rain/snow.... yuck.

Oh please, not the Denver weather, that was the wettest I have ever been. At least the rain will keep the women and children away

Reason no. 882 why the best place to watch a game is in your own living room.

I don't know.. my ex was from the same city that Lambeu is in (Ashwaubenen) and she took me to a game in the early part of the decade and it was freezing cold, with snow and ice. I couldn't have asked for a better day at Lambeu.

jonny...what the hell am i going to do with you concerning weather. Have warned you several times not to even get involved in weather threads.

    Forecast for beautiful east rutherford:

Sunday: Rain. High near 45. East wind 7 to 9 mph becoming south. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Now if that happens...thats a decent windswept rain. It aint going to be comfortable in the Meadowlands on Sunday IF this holds up.

I agree. It's def that time of the season, and it's def that kinda of weather. Pound the rock, soften up that Dolphins D, and throw when we want to, NOT cause we have to. Geting McKnight involved wouldn't hurt either.

I think it's starting. We were really trying to run against the Pats, but when you're down 17 at the end of the first and making stupid mistakes it's hard to commit to it.

Our running game needs to come alive, especially with 4 likely very cold games to end the season given that Sanchez hasn't looked good in the cold.

Updated National Weather forecast for East Rutherford:

Sunday: Rain. High near 50. East wind 14 to 16 mph becoming south. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

I was watching a futurecast for the next 48 hours and it showed heavy rain in the morning and then around noon...a break for about 5-6 hours. If that above forecast is accurate, gonna be a uncomfortable game to play in and watch.

We had a number of bad, rainy, low-scoring losses to the Colts back then. The only time we played the Eagles with Coslet was a nice day in October, we did play them in the cold and rain at the end of Kotite's last year, the 1-15 year. Blew a 20-7 lead in the last five minutes or so.

The only 6-0 game in the series was won by the Colts in Indianapolis in 1987.

The game you went to was the December 13, 1992 game which the Colts won 10-6. Trudeau came off the bench to throw the game-winning TD in the 4th quarter.

That was a Rich Kotite game in 1996. The Eagles won 21-20.
