How can he have slow feet yes is a pass-blocker...His feet are great, he's good against speed rushers... I understand he'll go against Taylor-Seymour-Freeney-Hayward-Schobel etc. etc. But I don't think hes a project. Don't think he'll be Pace or Ogden, but good.
except your reasons are basically pulled out of thin air, where as the other side of the arguement have FACTS that totally negate any point of the project view you are trying to convey go back to school and maybe you'll learn how to decipher reality from your imagination
Cons: As a drive blocker, he is not naturally strong or explosive and needs to add muscle weight. He missed time as a senior due to a knee sprain that limited him to only two games until midseason. He needs to become more physical, especially in his lower body to improve his leg drive. He can get stood up at the line in the run game and will fail to sustain his block at times. He could also show more nastiness and seems to catch blocks rather than show a good strike and punch. Numbers: He did not work out at the combine.
You have no Idea about me so save your BS for someone else you are trying to impress. I stood corrected and admitted my mistake. Also, Just because I disagree w/ people makes it all negating? No. It's an opinion and maybe you should learn how to "decipher" what an opinion is and stop trying to be a 4th rate internet psycho-Quack and read people.
I know. I corrected myself I shouldn't have said slow feet. I was trying to say he isn't a Roadgrader (Lower body) and said slow feet.
DBRICK is NOT a project....he already is a great O lineman but has a few mechanical flaws ( who doesnt) and if fixed could make him that much better...hes not raw...so how does that make him a project...his talent is already superb with sky high potential
I would have been happy with Matt Leinart. I'm just as happy with Ferguson. The tackle positon needed big time help. I'm not too concerned with him being a "project". A lot of guys are "projects" and come out great. We're rebuilding. He can build up to his potential. We're not that great of a team this year. We need to just take this year to bring young guys up and see what they're made of. You can't expect everyone to be fantastic.
