Should be more than $20 mil. He should be the second highest paid DT in the league.

 

I’d be surprised if it’s not 25M.
Market is pretty clearly established with 4 DTs just signing. This should be pretty easy deal to do at this point.
Only thing I can think that may be holding things up is a 5th year or guarantees.

Also needed to happen from a culture standpoint…if we say we want to “build through the draft”, you first have to draft great players, then you need to actually KEEP the great players you draft. We haven’t done a great job at that in a long long time…partly because we’ve drafted absolute dogshit for the so long, but now that we have a great one…I’m glad JD made it happen…he made the right call on trading Jamal Adams, and he made the right call on signing Q

I said this in June so obviously I am a huge fan of this deal. He’s getting paid exactly what he should be getting paid. Thank god this got ironed out before Hard Knocks got ahold of the story.
