    Well, nothing is final until it's actually announced. Harbaugh to Michigan ring a bell? It's all speculation until SEA season ends.

    They won it courtesy of a supreme defense, a balanced attack, a QB that protected the football and made plays when he needed to, and a solid ground and pound when they needed to. A far cry from a one dimensional attack that every team was able to preplan for without even looking at film. Given all that, without their D they would have not made it pass SF.

    I just hope Quinn does not change his mind...he is too well liked.

    If Quinn is the choice that's fine. He seems to be a quality guy with a good background. He is a defensive guy but seems to understand the league and knows that the NFL is an offensive league. He will not become his own defensive coordinator and seems smart enough to to know how teams win. I like that he has been in college recently because that's where most of the innovation is tried out.

    Following this quote from Fox Sports I have it on good authority that the Jets have made no decision regarding their Head Coach position, Dan Quinn has not been hired or been promised the job and efforts are still on going to identify the correct candidate.
