My thoughts exactly. Every time we're in this situation everyone says "wait. No reason to do anything yet" then complain when our young players leave.
Lock him up now when it's cheaper

Only receiver on this team who deserves any money. With that being said, wouldn't make sense to give him money now as last year could have been a fluke. I don't think it was and I think he will only get better, but we have other major issues to worry about salary cap wise.

    3 rules for good GM:

    1. Draft well.
    2. Play the kids young.
    3. Extend them early.

I see #1 and #2 coming out of Macc thus far - let's see if he sticks to #3.

I've been saying we should resign him for a little while, I really like him I think he will continue to flourish here. And also he dosent seem like a self centerd player who thinks he should be the number one guy, wich I think is really important. He knows his role and sticks to what he's good at and is very comfortable doing it

Indelible image of Ashley Judd is that movie she made with Luke Perry as Bonnie & Clyde types.

It's taken Brown a long time to act up given his deal. That Steeler locker room is really something to behold. A bunch of players trying to win their division every year and go to the Super Bowl and nobody bitching about money much.

Antonio Brown has been the best WR in football for 4 years now and he's been playing on the deal he signed a year early in 2012. 4 years, 481 catches (120 catches a year!), 6,315 yards (1,579 yards a year!), 43 TDs and a total cap figure of $26.6M ($6.65M a year!).

This just has all the workings of a player that will have a break out season next year and we go on to completely botch the contract situation in losing him for no compensation or completely overpay him.

Extend him tomorrow and let's avoid the situation. Something in the neighborhood of tacking on 3 years at $3-5 million per with catch and yardage escalators. I'd imagine he's making peanuts right now.
