The 49ers need a QB? Alex Smith only has 2 years on his record and he stepped it up last season. That's the last position the 9ers should be addressing in the draft.

Actually I think that was about the Bucs...

But they don't need a rookie QB either.

It looked like Donnie was finishing Vilma's sentence.

But, if he meant the Buccs, then I agree they don't need a rookie QB. Gruden still has a hard on for Chris Simms. They have another young QB in Gradkowski, who I personally think is complete trash but he's still young. I couldn't believe they didn't go with Tim Rattay after Chris Simms went down. Putting in Gradkowski was a message to their fans that the season was over (much like when the Jets took Vinny off the couch). Either way, they have Rattay and I think he's a solid back-up. I don't think Tampa needs to address QB this year, especially with so many other pressing needs.

I was quoting Pa, who was discussing the Bucs needs after I said "they need help everywhere, so I went BPA."

I would say right now Houston has gotten 2 big steals and definitely has the best draft going so far.

It's gonna be a long offseason.

Usually these things peter out when the gap between picks gets way too long though. We should see how round two goes before we deide when to pull the plug.

The Texans are eager to show their fans and the NFL that they are no longer tha laughing stock of the NFL. They passed on Bush, but this year Adrian Peterson was sitting right there for them to take, he may not be as "great" as Reggie in the long run, but time will tell, he will anchor down the RB position for years to come in Houston. McCauley was a huge pick for the Texans because their Pass D was at best HORRIBLE last year. With additions of Peterson, McCauley and the veterans which include Andre Johnson, Mario Williams, and DeMecco Ryans, this team has a solid core already...only through 2 rounds. This is a long draft, and Houston is looking forward to filling more holes to create a winning team.

    Maybe another hour or two...

I want to give everyone enough time, but this is the 2nd round now.

Don't want to get myself in a tough spot like I was before, but this guy is taking a pretty long time, but the fact that I'm about to go somewhere and might not be back 'til late (really late) and you guys might have to wait for my pick too makes my comment invalid...

If you are on deck and won't be around you could send a PM to someone to make the pick for you.

What if we just give Minnesota Daymeion Hughes CB California since whoever's up has had well over 24 hours to pick.

Since Smoot is a possible cut and there are no great WRs around, it wouldn't be a bad pickup.

Just do it. Make the pick for NYJATW. That is a very good move, they will need a CB, make the move. If you want me to take over the vikings draft from here on out I will.

If you want I will act as the Vikings GM from here on out. I will start by making the pick. I just need the OK. Send me a PM and I will quickly make the picks from here on out for the Vikings.
