The Kansas City Chiefs select defensive tackle Demarcus Tyler, North Carolina State Rd 1: Dewayne Bowe Rd 2: Demarcus "Tank" Tyler
Well, he had to wait a long time for his first pick. I hope plasticsloth is around. Seahawks: plasticsloth OTC
With the 55th pick in the 2007 TGG.com the Seattle Seahawks select Aaron Rouse, Safety from Virginia Tech. The Seahawks have a major hole in its secondary. Looking to improve it's 15th ranked pass defense, which is only that high due to the pass rush, and to replace the loss of kem hamlin, the seahawks have no choice but to spend their first pick on a safety. Rouse is a big physical safety that can really help their defense.
The Denver Broncos select TE Zach Miller Arizona State University. Lightning strikes twice as the Denver Broncos take two of the biggest steals in the draft. 21. Leon Hall CB Michigan 5-11 191 Sr. 56. Zach Miller TE Arizona State 6-5 262 Sr. Eagles: NJJets OTC
With the 57th pick in the 2007 GGQMD, the faux-eagles take: Brandon Siler, LB, Florida Fulfills BAP and PON **JetfaninPA OTC**
With the 58th pick in the draft, the New Orleans Saints select Buster Davis, LB Florida St. If it wasn't for his height (5-10), he'd be a first round pick easily. Nothing really to dislike about him... A great addition for the Saints defense. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS DRAFT 27. Aaron Ross CB, Texas 58. Buster Davis LB, Florida St. -MC- on the clock.
The New York Jets Select: Justin Harrell- DE- Tennessee Harrell projects very well at 3-4 end. could possibly start from day one, and i think its a steal at the end of the second round. has good size with long arms. he reminds me somewhat of ellis. very tough, will play through pain for his team. hes versatile, a hard worker with top intangibles. its very easy to find a good runningback late in the draft, players like harrell are harder to get. good pick up for the jets.
The New England Patriots select: John Wendling, S, Wyoming With the recent re-signing of Asante Samuel, the Patriots CB needs have diminished, although Ellis Hobbs could be improved, I do not think there was a player better than Hobbs at this tage of the draft. The Patriots 2 other needs were ILB, where Teddy Bruschi is getting older, and saftety, where Antrell Hawkins dissapointed last year. Hawkins is 31 and not very good, with this pick they vastly inprove the position opposite Rondey Harrison. Although Wendling may seem like a reach here, I think it was a very good pick. Wendling does not really have many flaws in his game. He is a solid tackler, good in coverage and a very smart player. He fits the Belichick mold almost too perfectly. A great leader and a great kid. Should be a big improvement in the Patriots secondary.
With the 61st pick. The Ravens select: H.B. Blades ILB Since Ray Lewis isnt getting any younger this is a guy that the Ravens just couldnt pass on. 3 years in a row above 100 tackels! Senior season compiled 147 Tackles and 10.5 TAC for loss! insane. This guy is always around the ball and will be a huge asset to the Ravens and will really benifit from playing under Lewis for a year or 2.
With no safeties left that would be good value here and no other major needs besides WR, the Chargers decide to add another offensive threat to their already potent offense: Brian Leonard, Rutgers
Tampa selects DE Ray McDonald, Florida. Very versatile lineman that can fill needs at DE and rotate with Hovan/Pitcock at DT. 4. WR Calvin Johnson 35. DT Quinn Pitcock 64. DE Ray McDonald
