Tim Tebows results are that against guys who will never sniff the field during the season, he threw two of the most pathetic INTs I've ever seen, completed 38% of passes, continued to throw the ball in the dirt, and ran around a bit to make sure he got his highlight for sports center. Again, stop talking about how he's not "in the right offense.". You cannot run the spread option as a base offense in the NFL. You can use it as a change of pace, particularly with a QB like newton, rg3, etc, but it is a gimmick simpleton offense that cannot work for more than as a change of pace. Therefore, there is no scenario in which Tim Tebow could ever be a starting QB bc this isn't some pathetic 10th home game of the 12 game season against The Citadel. This is real football.
CowboysFan is finally cracking. He pretended for months that he "thinks Sanchez is better and should start" bc he knows people would absolutely trash him for that cult stance, but when it comes down to it, he like all these cult worshippers don't care about the Jets AT ALL, they just want to relive the glory days of the never-undefeated.
It's a good thing we are smart enough not to evaluate on the results of preseason games. How many penalties have the jets had w/ Sanchez to stall drives? pass protection? dropped passes? Here is the difference btw the 2: sanchez throws a would be Td pass that hill drops Tebow underthrows a WIDE open WR to fail to score a TD Sanchez has had some bad luck as well as not playing w/ the regulars due to injuries. Anyone watching the 2 in preseason can see who the much better QB is.
lol, you've just spent the past several pages criticizing Tebow and pumping up Sanchez for what they've done in....wait for it....PRESEASON. Get your story straight.
Such a circular argument. We'll just have to wait for the regular season to confirm Tebow is a gadget player.
have you watched football long? if you have you should be able to evaluate Tebow and Sanchez w/o looking at #s(especially meaningless preseason #s).
You really want to go there ?? And the game before, Sanchez put the ball right into the defenders hands, yet again, on a shallow crossing route. Tebow, on the other hand, had nice drives going that were killed by drops and penalties. Funny how you ignored that.
Ignoring that it was a a 20+ yard, across the body throw off his rear foot while cross stepping to the sideline.
Demosthenes cracking now too. All these guys pretending like they don't want Tebow to be the starter. None are Jets fans. They are there to relive their glory days of one loss seasons and high school offenses. It's like we are dealing with a legit cult. I can't even imagine how many GQ copies these guys have bought, cannot even BEGIN to imagine.
Correct, he wasn't even under any real pressure. If his feet were misplaced and he was throwing across his body, it's likely because his mechanics fucking suck.
Matt Moore beat us too. How about this: vs. this:
