I don't but i am predicting what's gonna happen..I am not rooting for them to lose.. I am saying i can read into the future and see like a physic..
Anyone who wouldnt take Rivers over sanchez at this point is a complete idiot, and dont want to read any further!....Are you kiddibg me, or are you still in love? Sanchez will never ever be A great qb, not even a good one....my god people, wake up, let go.....he aint the answser.....Rivers?...at least he got some heart, he cares......Fuckin sanchez wants to hide his self after every series that goes bad......gimmie e pennington that waves the flag and encourages the defense to pick him up!.......im sick of this crybaby sanchez and the coach that backs him up!.....grow a set of NTY Balls Rex!...or get the fuck out!............im beyond words anymore on how this team will ever get it right
This is the first 3 years of Alex Smiths career: Code: comp att pct yards ypa TD INT rate 2007 94 193 48.7 914 4.7 2 4 57.2 2006 257 442 58.1 2,890 6.5 16 16 74.8 2005 84 165 50.9 875 5.3 1 11 40.8 -------------------------------------------------- total 435 800 54.3 4679 5.85 19 31 63.5
ok and this is the 2 years of smiths career PRIOR to harbough: Code: comp att pct yards ypa TD INT rate 2009 225 372 60.5 2350 6.4 18 12 81.5 2010 204 342 59.6 2370 6.9 14 10 82.1 im not sure how you can say he was poor before harbough after posting 2 pretty efficient seasons. he certainly was a solid player before harbough posting back to back 60% completion/80QB rating/low turnover seasons.
You said: "Alex smith was never really that bad" My point is that if you compare Smith's early career to Sanchez's, Sanchez's is better - especially if you consider how well he played in the playoffs. And now you think Smith is a fine QB. Some guys take time to cook, as frustrating as their play may be while you wait for that to happen.
what i tried to say was "he was never that bad prior to harbough". which is 100% true. his first 3 year comparison to sanchez is a poor one, since smith didnt start from day 1 and was injured for a large portion of that time. he also didnt have anywhere close to the run game or defense that sanchez had his first 3 seasons. QBs take time, but horrible players like sanchez dont magically turn into good players
Oh I see so it's OK to make excuses for why Smith was worse than Sanchez his first 3 years. Your argument is ridiculous at this point.
in what way is it an excuse to say he was injured or didnt have the #1 run game and #3 defense. those arent excuses, they are indisputable facts. was sanchez injured the last 40 games?
I want Lotto #s right now. You weren't predicting, read your post again, it's very clear. You're tap dancing.
Those sound like "excuses" if you use them for some QBs but not others. Weather, poor protection, acting like a tool is okay because he cares. Hmmm excuses are flowing on a one way street here :breakdance: Could be good for both of them if it were a possibility. This you always root to win. I don't get it either.
So because Rex Ryan is our HC we will never have a successful QB? That makes no sense. Maybe the OC and QB coach need to go, thats fair. But why Rex? Makes no sense. Why would the Jets be interested in getting rid of a HC who has been very successful since coming here? All the problems you named at the end of your post are all front office decisions as well. I don't see how you can come to the conclusion that Rex needs to go unless you simply dont like him.
even if you want to say rivers has sucked... at least he has a pretty long track record of being very good. as opposed to sanchez, who sucks this year and has a long track record of being awful
And when has Sanchez showed anything short of moping/sulking and laughing after games? Rivers gets pissed off. He shows he actually gives a shit and he'll ALWAYS be light years ahead of Sanchez. Always.
Its not a given that Ryan would not test free agency when his contract is done after next year. I completely forgot about the franchise tag though and lets just call it a given that the Falcons would use it if Ryan didn't sign a long term agreement. So yeah, back to the drawing board.... Good talk.
Rivers hasn't looked top 10 for a year and a half at this point. And if weather is an issue for him, I don't see how playing in Metlife is a good idea.
No..I had a different account but my i lost my aol account,So I had to resign up.I don't even remember account name when signed up about 5-6 years ago.I was not posting for years do to having no laptop for a couple of years.... You can test my jet knowledge.. I became a hardcore fan after the giants won there second super bowl with parcells in which i was about 13 years old..
I can't find the line where he said this, but when the Giants traded Rivers for Eli one of the concerns then-GM Ernie Accorsi had about Rivers was that his windup would lead to a premature breakdown of his shoulder. Based on the fact that Rivers has been missing throws that he would have made a handful of seasons ago, I don't think it's impossible that this is happening.
