Ryan Leaf, the ultimate comeback story, in which he leads us to the Superbowl and wins it with a 70yd bomb as the clock tics down to 0.00 remaining and the pass is caught by a fan pulled from the stands and forced to suit up following an injury.
The Jets QB in three years will either be Kellen Clemens or a veteran QB who's not on the roster right now...
Chad will be gone by then and I think Ramsey will prevail. Which means we won't be a SB team either. It seems everyone is sold on Kellen Clemmens but I'm not. I think we will be just good enough not to get Brady in next years draft and we still won't have a great QB in 3 years. We are the Jets after all. For the good or bad it will be Ramsey. With all the FA QBs this season and the three top QBs in the draft and we missed them all.
I know a lot of people think Quinn and a lot of people think a veteran not on the roster. Maybe I should have been more detailed...idk. I'm quite surprised with the confidence this site has in KC.
In 3 years with Mangold and D'brick manning our OL we can put Vinny back there in a barkalounger and let him fling it all day long.
Other, some veteran Jeff Garcia/Jon Kitna type. I expect Ramsey to be our QB with mild success for the next 2 seasons and then to have a stop gap brought in. As much as I like Chad I have no confidence in his coming back. And despite what Ron Jaworski says I just don't see Kellen Clemens as a starter.
