Luckily, next year's draft isn't so pathetic at the QB position. Which is why many people feel it's not a bad idea to wait a year before spending a Day 1 pick on a QB. We tried to find a QB in the middle of the first round in a weak QB draft in 2000, we whiffed. And we've spent the past 5 or so years recovering from it.
Yeah, but at least that ends the debate of the last 2 years, and ends ALLLLLLLLlll the friggin questions about Clem, Ratty, etc. Its HEALTHY and NORMAL to think about whether a draftee will be good, its not healthy to walk this line between not knowing what you have and adding MORE unknowns years after year. Gotta see whats in your hand SOMETIME before you add more cards.
