Im up a little early Matty, thanks to a leaf blower and a gardener who doesnt know the difference between 7 and 9 O'clock. We can get this game going whenever you are ready. The earlier the better. I have to get to work in a few hours....
28-14 Matty. IMO, a lot of bullshit calls that didnt go my way. A crucial 4th and Goal stand that somehow they called a TD, and I couldnt even challenge it. His knee was clearly down at the 1 and they called it in. Then a bullshit 4th and 3 call that my WR caught a pass in the flat and made it to the line only to be pushed back by Clements. Guess what they called? So yea, it was good game, but those few calls really took it out of me. That and the numerous wide open passes that my receivers dropped on crucial downs. Oh yea, why were you still passing up by 14, with 2 minutes to go and when i had no timeouts. I know you couldn't run on me but jeez.
Just looked at the box score. My passing game couldnt get going. It seems his defense was prepped perfectly for what kind of passing game I like to run. Should have mixed it up more, and definitely ran more. DeAngelo was effective. SuperBowl: Matty vs. Brickwall good luck guys
Easy to shut down Coffee with the Panthers defense. I don't think we can say with certainty that Coffee wasn't in. I looked at the highlights and of course they cut the last second off before I could get definitive evidence. You had plenty of chances to score. I almost returned the opening kickoff for 6, then entered the redzone only to throw a pick over the middle on my second play from scrimmage. Scik uses a 10-play drive in the redzone and decides to ROLL OUT with Delhomme and throws a pick in the endzone. He crossed the line of scrimmage anyway, but I don't know why he's not talking about that gaffe. Didn't target Steve Smith at all, either. Like I keep saying. I'm a straight up bum who will most certainly lose to Brick. I can't wait to compete with him though. At least all of us in the league compete against one another. No blowouts.
We got disconnected after a first quarter filled with fireworks. Crabree scored on a crossing route for 30 plus yards, Brick answered with 4th-down conversion (inches!), audibiling from goaline to five-wide and hitting Hall on a slant over the middle. He forced me to punt, scored again on a beautiful wheel route down the sideline, but I wasn't finished. Rossum answered the bell with a 108-yard kick return. Until the fn disconection!
Another disconnection. This time I was ahead 10-3 with Brick driving near the redzone. We will restart later in the day.
