Scik, there's a video Jam put out on the Madden First Impression thread. It's pretty good (on the last page). Set the setting to Pro, AND go to CPU Skills and set all options to 100% The computer will play 100% to their RANKED abilities. I tried it out in that setting and it's decent.
I am gonna get killed by the CPU as well. Each year I start playing on All-Pro then move up to All-Madden when I get used to it. Last year I didn't even play enough to move up. We'll see, but I bet I lose to the computer....I've had some close ones in franchise so far on All-Pro. I guess it's safe to assume then that your W-L record in franchise does not influence your online rank, correct?
The franchise win-loss doesn't have anything to do with the win-loss in regular online. I think All-Madden is the way to go. We don't want every game against the computer to be a blowout and we also want the computer to win some games. If they didn't this league would be unfair and would suck.
Hey man if I lose to the comp I wont have a problem with it....if some people lose to the computer they fair enough....its just that I was sort of counting on those for my wins....I might go 0-16...shit.
I'd much rather lose a game every now and then, then kill the CPU by 50+ points. Thats just ridiculous...

it didn't help that Steve Breaston has two honey glazed hams for a pair of hands. I think he fumbled 4 or 5 times....including twice on kickoffs.
I noticed that a lot of remaining games that are yet to be played are people who are yet to play the CPU. Cmon people!!! lets get week 1 over with and get the ball rolling
hahaha..patience isn't one of your strong suits, I see. :smile: I don't play another "gamer" till week 3...when i play the colts. I have another date with the CPU in week 2.
I'm playing the steelers in week 2 I know I'm gonna get battered but I am still looking forward to it :grin: I'm the commissioner of an online franchise for another forum I go on and we only have 4 people signed up so far. we had 8 people say they would originally I really wanna try this feature properly
Im the Colts ( one of the teams involved in the blowouts. ) I feel that whats going on is that we are seeing the divide between the "hardcores" vs. the "casuals". I consider myself hardcore yet all pro is no push over.. imo i just got hot vs. a team off balance throughout.. i do believe vs. cpu is more likely a win then a loss but its not a guaranteed. Maybe what a previous poster about sliders should be considered and tested first. looking forward to that :wink:
