And in every draft, the 9-14 pick is always a better player than the 15-20, right? Stop. Please.

I don't really care about draft position, we won't be in a position to draft a potential franchise QB anyway so I'd rather ruin the season for Miami. It's not where you draft, it's about getting the best players in that spot. Sure there is a huge difference between picking 11th and 20th but as others have pointed out some of our worst draft picks have come iwth very high picks... Gholston, Robertson, Brady, potentially Milliner. I'll stick to winning games because you never know what you're getting in the draft.

Asinine. We should never root for a loss, but to hear the aftermath from the Rex haters blaming him for a lay down performance would make me sick....I wan to win by 30.

There are other wide receivers available. We can have the option to trade down to acquire other picks.

There is still a Jordan Matthews and Allen Robinson available as well - guys are really wanting us to lose AGAIN to the Dolphins. Prob because it's another reason to fire Rex, I'm sure!

Well fucking said - you don't see the Giants packing up and leaving, they beat the Lions last night and could of very well moved out of a race to get a great player in the top of the draft.

    I'd rather win.

It sucks we drop so far, though.

That said, if we pick 20th, I just can't fathom Rex being fired. That would mean that the Jets are technically the 12th best team in the league. Crazy.

Between these teams we're the only ones that need a receiver.

I want to beat the Phins badly. Draft position is nothing when knocking MIA out of the playoffs is on the table

PIT, NYG,DET could all grab one to add to their recieving corps and just like last year with Tavon someone could trade up. We're the only team with 0 receivers I couldn't imagine the reaction if we miss out on a receiver this year

Not true. A lot of those teams have FA receivers that they may or may not get rid of. Look at Detroit, you don't think they would like to add another receiver on the other side of Megatron?

Right but those teams have other other glaring needs.

Either guy would be a great addition.

Anybody who wants to lose to the Fins to have a better choice in the draft should go turn in their Jets fan card.

That's a HUGE drop and a lot of missed prospects. IMO this is a perfect example of why it's reasonable to hope your team loses its last game. It's meaningless. Miami's basically already out of the playoffs. They may still be able to squeak in, but even so, who cares? Why be obsessed with what other teams do? If winning one game is gonna drop you a fourth of the way down the draft in an already lost year, it's not worth it imo.

The difference is, this game may decide the fate of our entire organization through the career of Rex Ryan.

I'm not certain either way, but winning this game probably saves Rex's job in my opinion.

Definitely a game to fight for if you think he's the guy for the job.

Also, Miami has a 6/16 shot of getting in. That's a pretty big chance which we can destroy by simply beating them.

Either we win or the Ravens win or Miami makes the playoffs.

    Its just that simple.

Watkins could fall into our lap between 10-12

first WO went 8th last year and that was a trade up

top 10 picks will be QBs, Clowney, Barr and a LTs
