    Players must be retired five years to be eligible. Curtis Martin retires today, he'll be eligible in 2011. (2006-2010 is five years.)

    A coach needs only to be retired with no time limit specified.

    Contributors (administrators, owners, commissioners, etc.) may be elected while they are still active.
