We really haven't played well the last 3 games but stole wins in the last 2 so it was pushed under the rug because of the way we won.Something needs to be addressed to get this team playing up to the standard they are capable of. Defense needs to shore up the big plays given up on 3rd and long and offense needs to wake the fuck up.
So the Patriots would be undefeated if not for us. We lost to the Ravens 10-9, and if Miami had to play in the NFC they'd be dominant. We mopped the floor with the Bills and easily beat the Vikings, the score only makes it looks close. Ravens were a top SB pick going into this year as were the Packers. I know the Packers have been ravaged by injuries but still they are a very well coached team. Coming into this season if you were told we'd be 5-2 after our first 7 I bet you would've taken that in a minute. So you agree with the OP then? Having a bad game does not change who we are, if anything this might be looked at as the turning point for our season, who knows. If you want to be miserable and just expect losses the rest of the way, be my guest. I for one think we are still a serious contender and it will take us being knocked out of the playoffs until I think otherwise.
Holy crap, do people actually watch the games here? This was corrected, the Packers were 2-14 on 3rd down conversions. Our defense is finally coming together, but now our offense is having a identity crisis. These next two game could not have come at a better time.

Cleveland is 2-5, the Saints were playing like shit. Clevaland is average or towards the bottom in all categories. THey have been playing people close though. Detroit also 2-5, and they have a horrible rush D, and O. Similar to the Packers actually, but with MUCH less talent. Is any game ever a gimme, no, but I fully expect to win.
its teh nfl man.... on any given sunday, any team can win. the bills took the ravens to OT, and the Chiefs (ok so not the same as the ravens, but still... bear with me). it happens. you can light up the defending super bowl champs, then next week struggle in OT with the bills. sickening displays like yesterday tend to be bc of a number of small things... sometime too many to overcome. shit happens.
