Oh well. We lost the game. Darnold didn't have a bad showing but did not set the world on fire. Teddy looked great though and although the defense gave up big plays and lost the game at the end, at least they've gone two games without giving up a TD. Most importantly and best of all, I don't believe we suffered any key injuries which imo is always preseason goal #1.
Jets o-line looked like swiss cheese. Defense was lucky to not give up a td. Other than that we looked great.
Can't help this comment..(sorry)..he was picking a Booger and that finger got mangled when he couldn't retrieve from nose Moohaha
I will not disagree that Bridgewater has looked pretty solid this preseason and that is a good thing for the Jets. However, what many here fail to recognize when trying to anoint him his - he has played one season in the NFL actually on the field. Even some crap players (not saying he is) can have one good season. In that season he was on a very good team and the defense was the real star. The offense only put up points on shitty teams and was middle of the pack statistically (not bad for a rookie), so let’s not appoint him like he is an elite an at this point. Let’s be real the play calling when he has been in has not been quite the same, given the opporunity to take more mid to deep shots. I say let him start week 3, see how he does against the 1st team and see if he can up his trade value because it is pretty clear that Darnold has way more upside potential.
