the league is run by 80 year olds white men that want every qb to throw for 4000 yds. you're only complaining about millennials because you let your best years pass you by
Meh, you can knock check downs all you want but hes driving the ball down the field. How do you think Brady plays? Short, quick, very accurate throws and he gives his receivers a chance to catch in stride and turn up field. I'm not saying Darnold is Brady, but he did efficiently move the ball down the field in 2 of 3 drives. Obviously you want to see TDs but were talking a very small sample size here.
In watching the over top view - I would say that it was more of really good play by the LB than it was a bad decision by Sam. On 4th, you can’t take a sack and if you are truly trying to practice do or die scenario you have to try and get it to someone. The play call that is another story.
Looks like our 2's and 3's are on the field now. No real reason to continue watching this. TeddyB might be the only reason to watch.
In case Chris Johnson is reading this here's next draft if you want to make me GM. Trade 2020 1st rounder+ Teddy for 2019 high pick. 1 LT 1 Edge 2 OL. Easy game.
No..im excited for Darnold..id give this performance a B-.Hes beyond his years in terms of commanding the offense, processing info & accuracy. But id like to see a few shots downfield..he appears to be being kept under wraps a bit w the play calls..but nonetheless. There hasnt been a single other player to impress me except for perhaps Nathan Sheppard
