So we just need a similar run of facing; A how did we win that game (Browns) A QB1 getting benched for a rookie making his debut who almost brings them the win (Steelers) QB3 Skylar Thompson (Miami) A QB with a broken thumb (Packers) A Nathaniel Hackett led squad (Broncos) A QB with a UCL in his elbow (Bills) A QB2 on a 3 win team (Bears)
Very torn between 8-9 and 9-8 so I went with my optimistic side and picked 9-8. We went 7-10 last year and while the schedule looks a little harder this year than it does last year that's me basing that belief off of last year's results which as we all know mean absolutely nothing. However, now this year, just like last year, is all about Zach. Can he take a step? Can he just not be the worst QB in the league? Can he just be a top 20ish QB this year? Time will tell. He's staring down a gauntlet to start the year (@DAL, vs NE, vs KC, @DEN, vs PHI). So if he gets to the BYE and he's still the starting QB, maybe we have something.
We play: Mac Jones 2x Desmond Ridder Sam Howell Tua 2x (I would be shocked if we play him both times considering his history) Daniel Jones Jimmy G Josh Allen (who has been dogshit vs us 3 games straight) Deshaun Watson Russell Wilson CJ Stroud The only 3 games on our schedule that I am actually concerned about the other teams QB is KC, Philly, and the Chargers. No one at that list scares me vs our defense. Do they scare you?
I picked 10-7, but could be 11-6 if wilson's light bulb turn's on Bills - W Cowboys - L Pats - W Chiefs - L Broncos - W Eagles - L Giants - W Chargers - W Raiders - W Bills - L Dolphins - W Falcons - W Texans - W Dolphins - L Commanders - W Browns - can go either way but mark it as a L Pats - L
No they dont, but we played mac jones 2x last year and we lost both. i understand not b/c of him but wilson shitting himself
Bills - W Cowboys - L Pats - L Chiefs - W Broncos - W Eagles - L Giants - W Chargers - W Raiders - W Bills - L Dolphins - L Falcons - W Texans - W Dolphins - W Commanders - W Browns - L Pats - W
We didn't have one starting RB on the active roster either time they played New England. Assuming things hold up until week 3, they will have 2 all-pro level RBs this year.
Yes agree scenarios are different this year. I do hope zw steps up and plays a mistake free game and we should be able win both games against the pats

I really really wish I was wrong. Let’s face it, this season was a trap season. When all the prognosticators and talking heads start to buy in to what the Jets are “selling” you just know that bastard “Murphy” and his law are going to step in and slap all hard working and honest Jet’s fans to the pavement. We were RIPE for the beating and, based on what Saleh and JD HAVEN’T DONE over the course of their time in green, you just knew something was going to happen to Kal El thus ending this season before it really began. I wish I was wrong but, with this team, the history dictates otherwise and we hadn’t made any significant changes outside of brining Rodgers in. If folks TRULY believed that he was really worth an extra 4 or 5 wins then that’s on them. I don’t have that much hope and haven’t had it for quite a few years now. At least for me, time will tell, during this offseason, if I choose to come back and continue to smack my face into a wall year after year. We shall see…
