How does a Bills team with the 30th ranked offense and 31st ranked defense and a losing record each of the last two seasons and no playoffs in the last 9 years rank 16th?
Its a fair question. But the Bills got blown out (by 22pts or more) in only 4 games last year. They were a 7-9 team who started out 0-3. They had decent free agent acquisitions in the offseason, not to mention a pretty good draft. Not sure why everyone is making a big hoopla about Denver, I think they are going to s-u-c-k.
I think the Bills had the worst off season of any team in the division. I also think they have the worst coaching staff. I think their draft was OK but not great. IMO the Bills aren't anywheres close to 16 more like 25 at best.
Is that a joke? They only got blown out 4 times last year? What teams got blown out more than 4 times? I'll give you a hint, none. Only the Lions managed to match that feat. BUF: 4 DET: 4 CAR: 3 STL: 3 ATL: 2 BAL: 2 DEN: 2 HOU: 2 NYG: 2 NYJ: 2 OAK: 2 CHI: 1 CLE: 1 GB: 1 JAC: 1 KC: 1 MIA: 1 MIN: 1 NO: 1 SD: 1 SF: 1 TEN: 1 WAS: 1
^ it was meant more to address the fact that its difficult to really call them the 31st ranked defense. That is a pts against system that gets skewed if you have to play a NE twice & get blown away 56-10 + 38-7 during the season. The JETS have their work cut out for them w/Buffalo in the mix this year.
The same way the Herman Edwards Jets were able to tread water without actually drowning and all at the same time tricking people into thinking they were in contention. Dick Jauron is Herman Edwards without the outlandish press conferences.
its a little scary, that means they can run with teams but can't beat them. A few minor adjustments and the can be a 6 win team.
There's talk Miami has contacted Drew Rosiebutt about what it would take to get Anquan Boldin in Miami. As for the one blowout, Miami lost 6 games last year by 3 points or less. We had a bad season yes, but the coaching was simply awful, plus we had so many key injuries like Brown, Thomas, Green, Bell and we traded Chambers away week 6 so Miami really had a lot go wrong early in the season.
What it would take, for starters, is to have AZ willing to trade him. That's who they should have called but I guess Miami is still Miami. Not to mention that if they did call his agent then it is big time tampering and they will lose their next two first round picks. Care to change that story?
What constitutes a blowout? They lost by 17 to the Cowboys 18 to the Faders 21 to NE 27 to the Jets and 21 to NE
Amen, brutha. But they only lost ONE game by 22 points or more! So, yeah. I'll do one too. 1) San Diego Chargers 2) Indianapolis Colts 3) New England Patriots 4) New York Giants 5) Dallas Cowboys 6) Cleveland Browns 7) Green Bay Packers (yes, I believe in Rodgers THAT much) 8) Minnesota Vikings 9) Jacksonville Jaguars 10) New York Jets 11) Seattle Seahawks 12) New Orleans Saints 13) Washington Redskins 14) Carolina Panthers 15) Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16) San Francisco 49ers 17) Chicago Bears 18) Arizona Cardinals 19) Philadelphia Eagles 20) Pittsburgh Steelers 21) Houston Texans 22) Oakland Raiders 23) Kansas City Chefs 24) Buffalo Bills 25) St. Louis Rams 26) Baltimore Ravens 27) Denver Broncos 28) Miami Dolphins 29) Tennessee Titans 30) Cincinatti Bengals 31) Atlanta Falcons 32) Detroit Lions Hooray speculation!
too many ppl have the Seahawks in there top 10. i can see them finally missing the playoffs even with a terrible division and and easy schedule. anybody else feel this way
