Converted from a 225 RB who ran a 4.49 at the combine... And cool, so take Rolle off the list of at least 8 names I put there...My point still stands that Rex, like any sensible coach, loves size/speed/athletic (different from speed in many ways) guys...so you keep that Rolle thing and hold it close...you got me.
If you're a defensive back in the NFL, odds are that you're pretty athletic. All of the other guys that you named are under 205 pounds - that's not big.
You keep bullshitting about stuff and I'll be sure to keep it up. You're basically saying that James Ihedigbo is a giant...he weighs more than 205 pounds, so he must be "big".
No, they're not. Woodson played at 205 most of his career and was probably around 210 in his Raven days...Landry is easily 205...Herring was 210-215...McCallister was a 6'1 205 corner... Time after time man... James Ighedigbo is a big DB dude...it's part of why he's actually a solid blitzer...sharp dresser too.
i fail to see how he out jumped everyone on the onside kick makes him fast? My original point was once he picked up the fumble, he had a 10+ yard head start. And you know what else, Rhodes wasnt going to score on that play even if Brian Leonard wasnt there, he was going to get caught within the next 5-10 yards by somebody else too. Just give it up, in 2005-2006 Rhodes would have been in the endzone on that play with about 15 yards to spare, and he would have gone after the ball after he stripped Rivers not gotten up and started dancing. Rhodes has played like a shadow of his former self. If he returns to form the fans will get right back behind him. Hell thats all we want from him! but he has shown no signs of playing like that! Plus every other person on this defense has stepped up their game this year (minus Gholston) and played a million times better than they did under Mangini, except for Rhodes. Thats why the belief is that Rhodes is the problem here, not the other way around
Let me quote myself here: Time after time, man. Dawan Landry is 220 pounds, and Jim Leonhard was more effective in that defense at the same position. I never left off any of those other defensive backs, like you claim I did. I just bunched them all into the 200-205 category, which fits all of them. They aren't big, like I said.
1. What is your point of you quoting yourself? Did I not work off of your quote when I gave you a list of big DBs formerly on the Ravens? 2. Landry is listed at 210...you have him at 220 here...many of those guys I named are listed at 205...I know for a fact Woodson spent his Ravens days around 210-215...does that mean many of those guys I listed are actually heavier than I'm saying they are? 3. You're wrong. Again. Deal with it. Once again you're turning something into nothing because you so desperately want to be right...What coach doesn't want the bigger guy out of two pro level athletes? Zbikowski is also listed at 210...he's on the Ravens now and was drafted when Rex was there...since you're predictable to the point where I know you'll harp on the Ravens roster as it is right now...which you'll tell me I ignored your quote and blah blah blah... T.E.D.I.O.U.S.B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T.
My point with mentioning Landry is that he's one of the only big defensive backs on the Ravens' roster, yet you claim Rex Ryan "loves" big defensive backs. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/7895 Yahoo does too. How am wrong? I simply stating facts. 1. Kerry Rhodes got chased down by a fullback - fact. 2. The Ravens have a ton of small, quick defensive backs...and so do the Jets - fact. 3. You claimed that Rex Ryan loves big defensive backs, and you can't back it up - fact.
I can't have a sensible debate with you. You have a very warped head dude...Seriously. Hold onto that Samari Rolle card though...I have no doubts you'll be playing it very soon considering how often you like to convince yourself you've come away with the upper hand.
I really wish you were as clever as you thought you were. At least it'd make these stupid debates we have interesting. The other guys I listed not Rolle: 205+...most also 5'11, 6', or bigger.
