I'M OK with Angelo, though some of his top picks were atrocious the last 10 years.

Angelo has been one of the worst drafters in the past few years. No thank you.

How much you want to bet he or a family member edited Wikipedia to hide the fact he was fired?

I love how we want nothing to do with Cohen who for all we know could be everything we want in a GM but some of those same people are ok with Angelo who did a pretty shit job building an offense in Chicago until Marshall fell in his lap and hasn't drafted well... ever.

I'd hire Cohen over shitface Angelo. You guys have no idea how terrible that dude is.

@JasonLaCanfora:[/url] Jets doing 2nd interviews Tues. would expect guys like Omar Khan, Russ Ball, Scott Cohen to be in the mix. Sounds like Jerry Angelo is not

We really should try to have our GM in before the end of the week. That's when the East-West game starts.

Not what you would call a star quarterback. That's a loaded quote for someone to say if you only have Jay Cutler on your resume.

Late night #Jets news: Per CBS, it appears Jerry Angelo is no longer in the mix to be the next #Jets GM. #nyj

Even though I despise them, sometimes I wish I would have chosen to follow the Steelers instead. At least they'll go .500 on a down year, and more often than not make the playoffs. That said, I'm totally pulling for Omar Khan. I would be PUMPED. Then next year we can draft Tajh Boyd. We'll just continue to add to our fucked up roster of oddly named guys.

Via Herb Zurkowsky (sports reporter in Montreal)

For those wondering, #Als' GM Jim Popp remains in the New York Jets' mix - that, according to Popp, who texted me tonight.

I'd be surprised if it's Cohen at this point. He interviewed early, why keep bringing in other guys? After the first 5 you could say you did your due dilligence.

I wonder if they're going to want some kind of system with Khan as the de facto GM but Cohen/Bradway still playing a key personnel role.

And that would mean everybody else has turned it down. I can'e see any other way Johnson would make a move like that. They know him well enough and if he was worth hiring they would have already hired him.

Everyone one of these fuckheads in the media are reporting something different. Does anyone know what's actually going on or are they just speculating??? I'm beginning to think the Jets are giving little pieces of different fake information to a bunch of people to find out where the leaks are and they're finding out their are many leaks.
