Does Lucas realize that he is a failed NFL QB? Listening to his criticism is hilarious. I understand constructive criticism. He takes it to a personal level. He's lucky that he has a job, to be honest.
Mark is to next. Let's see......" We had a great week of practice". "We just just have to play better".
Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN Antonio Cromartie on people calling for QB change: "They can kiss my ass... Mark is our Quarterback" #nyj :breakdance:
Wow. Jenk just said he wishes someone knocked Sanchez out of the game so that Rex would have had to make a change.
A "failed" NFL QB? The guy played at a level 99.9% of people can only dream of. But because he wasn't great at that top 1%, that means he can't criticize a 3-6 team? He was a world class athlete and YOU are critiquing HIM from your computer? Are you that butthurt?
Cro is just looking for Sanchez's ex's. Must be baby-making time in Cro-world, like that year when he fathered like 5 kids.
So did I, everytime he got hit i was praying he wouldn't get up and they'd bring the stretcher's out (Don't gimmie that don't wish injury BS)
Hey, "Diabolical Jet Fan" - I realize that you are a, "what have you done for me lately" fan. I respect your hatred for Sanchez. Lucas talking trash is the pot calling the kettle black. It's humorous hearing him talk as if he was able to perform as an NFL QB.
Rex can't offer ONE legit reason why Sanchez should continue to play. How does a professional simply offer "because I said so" to defend this play?
See, talking to some people on here is a wasted effort. I specifically said it is ok to criticize a team. He (Lucas) takes his analysis to another level. Oh an by the way - Sanchez is in that group you are referring that Lucas is in. Why does anyone criticize Sanchez then? You make no sense.
To be fair, Lucas was an undrafted free agent, thrown into the crucible due to injuries, not the fifth overall pick in the draft.
The hell are you talking about? If Lucas isn't qualified to critique him, who is? You are taking Lucas' criticism as personal, or "to another level". It isn't. What was so personal? Please. Enlighten us with a quote. He didn't attack his race or sexuality. He's calling it as it is. Sanchez is an awful QB who doesn't deserve his starting spot at this point.
Ray Lucas was a spot player who the coaches never in a million years expected to have to start. When he was called upon, he did a pretty decent job. Well enough for Miami to want the guy. He was certainly an underskilled QB, but he had a competitive spirit, and he was light years better than Sanchez. Watching Sanchez play is like watching an Alzheimer's patient deteriorate. It rips your heart out.
He is outwardly taking pro team approach, and not throwing his QB under the bus. that is actually admirable. Whether or not he believes it is a completely different conversation.
