The draft doesn't offer much in the way of elite blue chip QB prospects imo, but it is deep with options. He should be scouting all of them, as well as looking into FA possibilities.
Where is the proof that they are elite? I would put them towards the top of this year's crop, but don't feel all that much separates them from other interesting prospects in this draft class. You can poke holes at both, and neither is lighting it up in college. I was much higher on Goff and Wentz coming out than either of these guys. If I had to pick one it would be Darnold, but he's not falling to us and I wouldn't want to trade up for him. So it's time to start looking at other prospects (Allen, Thorson, etc) and potential FA's (Cousins).
I'd like to see him start here but not limit himself with just these guys, and not necessarily in this order. I'd also like to see him maybe bring in Cousins and maybe take a look at Tedy Bridgewater. Most of all I really hope to see the QB position have a different look so that I can see how fans will feed into some hack writer with a shitty narrative, and/or make shit up, to spew a bunch of different whining crying miserable nonsense. I just so happen to agree on several scenarios in terms of getting that QB, where-as you have this close minded attitude that if the Jets don't draft a QB with their first pick that you are done as a fan. I want the Jets to build a team, you want achievement? You build a football roster worth a damn and bring in a QB with good skillsets that can bring the offense together.
