There would be some reasons to consider Milliner at 9.. 1) if he's there at 9, it means a lot of other top prospects aren't, and he'd likly be the BPA. We'd be getting a very good football player. 2) i don't think Revis will be moved prior to the draft. If he isn't, it gives us leverage in the negotiations, and a good option if we do move him. Also gives us leverage and flexibility in what to do with Cromartie in 2014 (last contract year, and a 10.75mil cap number). If Revis signed, also gives us the option to trade Cro even in 2013, freeing up 10.75mil in cap both this year and next while netting a good pick in 2014. 3) ability to trust your CB's to play man coverage is very important in this defense, and recently very understated by many on this board. This guy fits that bill at a low cost, giving us many options stated in point 2. All that said, Milliner won't be there at 9. He's too good a selection and everyone looking to get better at CB. If Detroit passed on him I'd be really surprised.
