Hey, he'll be back this year so we can critique him again, I am afraid.

I agree with his blocking..not even worth discussing.

But you are overlooking his dropped passes and his inability to get open.

He had progressively declining stats in Oakland which is why they were thrilled to get rid of him.

And think about it..with the QB injuries and that lack of a long game, the TE production should have been way up.

Given what we gave up for him, he should have easily beaten Chris Baker out, and the fact is he didn't.

And as for Heath Miller..sure he was drafted by a good team.
But he took advantage of the opportunity..that's something he should be praised for, not discounted. That , in essence, is what a professional athlete should do.

And its not like he was in the KC offense..he produced in a run heavy offense and his future his extremely bright.

We can't worry about who was put in what situation..they idea is to produce.

As for Nugent..I'm rooting for him to succeed, of course.
But a second round pick on a kicker should produce something more than just an average season.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion and I would LOVE to be proved wrong in 2007 and beyond.

I meant game by game stats btw ... for each TE.

And I am not talking about which TE is better than the other. Jolly was not brought in for his blocking remember. He was brought in to be a receiving threat in the middle of the field which I beleive he can still be.
