Hey, I agree. I thought that Bowles should have been fired a year or two ago. I'm just saying that it's very possible that the Johnsons won't fire him. You're right in saying "God help us" or "God have mercy" if they don't fire him.

The Browns already started courting Lincoln Riley but he publicly said he loves Oklahoma and wants to stay (as of yesterday).

Urban Meyer's name has also been bandied about. Hell, no. It was in a Brown's conversation or two and I also saw it mentioned somewhere re: the Jets. Can't recall where. Not fake newsing it, I just can't recall where I saw it. Sorry.

I'd welcome any of the four, though it wouldn't surprise me if Riley ends up in Cleveland. And I really don't know much about Bieniemy.

DeFilippo was Sanchez' QB coach in 09 ;) .

Alot of these candidates who are Offensive Coordinators are intriguing

BUT..TBH I am all in on Harbaugh..the man with a winning NFL HC resume

Enough with the rookie HCs who use this franchise as a stepping stone to better job eg Pete Carrol etc etc or coaching for dummies Bowles

Come up with the uber bucks Chris and Woody!.Two of the worst Scrooges.Ya gets what ya pay for!.

I KNOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I'm not the least bit concerned about it, though. Meyer said that he plans to coach the 2019 season amid retirement rumors. Oh, no, "retirement rumors"! <== CODE NAME JETS. I'll see if I can find the link later, but sometimes you see something and then you can never find it again. I don't think it happens, though, even if it could . . . right? RIGHT?!

I believe he was an OC for a year in college and for a year with the browns (not the most appealing).

I honestly think Harbaugh and Riley are completely unrealistic for us at this moment – not that I wouldn't take them but I doubt either leaves.

You're correct. I read somewhere that this was his first year calling plays in the NFL, but just double-checked Wikipedia. He was an OC at San Jose St. and was an OC for the Browns in the 2015-16 season, so evidently what I read was wrong or I misremembered it.

I totally agree regarding Riley. If he leaves Oklahoma, it will be to go to Cleveland to have Mayfield as his QB. They have a better team/better talent than we do.

Harbaugh I'm not so sure about. I think that he would love to get back in the NFL. He hasn't had that much success at Michigan, and it's supposedly rumored every year that he's going to leave and go back to the NFL. I think for the right contract and conditions he would take the Jets job in a NY minute. He would have a young FQB, and there is some young talent on the team to build around. NE's on the way down. Buffalo and Miami aren't likely to rise up any time soon. He could probably count on winning our division every year or being extremely competitive and he'd have a chance to go head-to-head against his brother's team. If he had final say on personnel and Chris and Woody agreed to back off and stop meddling, I'd be surprised if he didn't take the Jets job. My major concern would be the Johnson's meddling. He probably wouldn't want to deal with that.

Been living in minnesota and following vikes the last few years. DeFilippo looks really good. Adapts his system to his players. Be a great match I think as long as Woody stays the fuck away.

I still would rather have Harbaugh, but DeFilippo is starting to sound more appealing.

John Harbaugh is a perfect fit.

Hopefully they outsmart themselves and start fresh with Ozzy leaving.
