Well, at least Gase will always have a place to live after he's jobless. That's quite commendable of you. Probs!

Don’t worry if any team can fuck up Trevor Lawrence and turn him into a major disappointment, the Jets can.

I guess I will always be a JETS fan. Just doesn't seem right to switch to anyone else. That said, for the first time in over 20 years I have not attended, or otherwise watched, or listened to, a single Jets game this season. If Gase is still the head coach next year, I suspect that situation will be exactly the same. I have better things to do with my ever dwindling time left than aggravate myself with this shit show.

How could anyone, no matter how football stupid, watch this moron for more than a few games and still think he can be a coach of an NFL team, or for that matter a high school team ? What has he done - EVER - ANYWHERE - that would support that assertion - even a tiny bit ?

Not a fucking thing. The only thing this clown is a "genius" at is bullshitting morons like the Johnson brothers to pay him millions of dollars to do a shit job for a couple of years.

I am here for the long haul 34 years and counting. I will be fucking pissed off though if they retain Gase. I just do not see how it is possible to keep Gase but..............these are the Jets we are talking about.

as a Jets fan since 1965, i no longer have any confidence in the Johnsons.

i only change if they stand back and let JD hire the next coach this offseason, and that guy hires his own assistants, or in partnership with JD.

JD runs the draft, period! keep the johnsons away.

As a UK fan it takes a tiny bit of extra effort to follow the Jets and watch them in anything other then the early slot on Sundays. If Gase is retained, I think next year will pretty much become how this years has ended up when I've watched other interesting match-ups but checked in on the Jets scoreline from time to time.

If/When he's removed then I'll probably start watching and staying up into the wee hours even if we are still a sub-500 team.

Sadly yes, but itll bring me into "yes, we do need a new owner" territory.

I do think the org structure of the Jets is very broken.

Not too much will change. I'll still tune in every Sunday, abuse my liver (Can't watch this shitshow sober, I admire those that do), and at the end when we've lost check tankathon.

One change next year will be our first holiday destination after covid. Mrs Donkey and I have discussed visiting NYC if the Jets schedule falls right... she said on Sunday, we're not going if that idiot is still Head Coach. She's right.

Gase being back next year would be a good thing.

It would bring us one step closer to the Johnsons selling the team.

For me I will be passing down my miserable "soccer" team to my kids and making their life a misery and dragging them through the depths with that one.

They can choose whatever they want after that!

It's hard to give up and walk away from a sport/team if you've been in it from a kid, and it always will be.

For me, I love the sport and found the Jets in my 20s. Spent a bit of money on my fandom and again have been lucky that my football team made it to the premier League and survived for a few years, whilst the jets have stunk.

I can't cope with 2 s#*#shows and will walkaway if gase stays as it's not worth investing any more passion into this team anymore.

I can enjoy watching other games as the NFL can offer so much week to week for a casual fan. I suppose I already do.

It would be so Jetlike of us to keep him. Just when you think we cant be any more of an embarrassment than going 0-16, we dont fire the HC to make it even worse.
