He's playing against an UDFA at home vs. a west coast team on a short week in his first career start. The Broncos have a ton of injuries. I don't really care about situation. A guy who is going to be a good NFL quarterback goes out and wins this game.
At this point turning Darnold around would mean a much shorter rebuild. It’s a huge factor in the franchise’s future. It may not look good, but it’s the biggest thing to still hope for. Gase will be fired at some point, but a turnaround from Darnold as some receivers return etc has almost unmeasurable value should it occur. Gotta hope for a good showing and a win from Darnold.
From the observations I have heard from pundits in the Sports World , good QBs always have limited weapons , backs and receivers to work with or injuries to the OL. Look at the play of Russel Wilson for example its not that he had 4 or 5 all pros to throw to but he manages to use what he has to win. So my conclusion is Sam is sucking as much as our awful Coach.. I am done with SD unless he show me he can rise above the adversity Lets move on from both asap
I'll root for the team as I always do but it's counterproductive to win any games at this point until Gase is fired.
I never hope to lose for a better draft position. Which is usually why you see Jets fans wanting the team to lose. I don't judge it, it's just not my style. It feels dirty to me. However... Anybody with common sense and a functional brain can see Gase Isn't a good HC. Hes not brilliant. I wouldn't even consider him a good OC. He's blessed to have the job he has. I can't stand this fucking coach over any coach that's coached this team. I realize that's debatable but, right now, the point, this ass hat needs to go. I hope we lose and it's disgusting to feel that way. Yet. I do.
I'm numb at this point. Losing big is better than losing a close game that they could've won, but fucked up and didn't.
Not sure if this makes any sense, but im rooting for us to win, but want us to lose. I just cant cheer for something bad happening to my boys. If I could root against the Jets every week what a happy life I would have.
You know you're a Jet fan when you're debating among yourself if you want the team to win or lose as early as Week 4.
I think anyone posting in a "Rooting for a win or loss?" thread in week 4 -- because your team is THAT terrible and hard to watch -- qualifies as a true fan, no matter what their answer is.
It's so painful watching Gregg Williams shitty ass defense and his crappy blitz get picked apart by a guy working at the local hardware store two months ago. This team is absolute dog shit
I see a lot of comments like this. And it's simply not fair. You, me and everyone here knows that these bougee white guys from wealthy colleges were working as investment bankers or architects and not hardware attendants.
My thoughts exactly. I can never bring myself to root against them, but I know it benefits them if they lose.
