Yeah, Sanchez sucks right now but he has still won more games that Peyton Manning, Young and Aikman did combined in their first year...get fuckin over it.

If it was all about the QB we'd be 11-3 right now. Sanchez AGAIN played well enough to lead us to a W yesterday but other factors prevented that.

Sanchez has had a very good ROOKIE season.

This best defense in jets history has now allowed THREE game winning drives in the final minutes of games. I love the D too but elite defenses don't allow that to happen.

As a Giants' fan I can say that Eli did have a FAR worse team than Sanchez because he had a terrible defense and was frequently asked to win games. He did have some offensive weapons, but look more closely at them. Shockey is a whiny bitch that drops a lot of passes (though he is now doing better in NO), Toomer at that point in his career was more of a #2 WR than a #1. Tiki was the best weapon he had on offense and that helped him greatly. It later came out, however, that Tiki was also a grade-A douchebag that frequently mocked Eli and put him down in the huddle.

Eli made some bad mistakes his rookie year as well, it happens. Sanchez is making some bad mistakes too, it happens. Most QBs don't pull a Roethlisberger/Ryan and kick ass from day 1. Judge Sanchez after the end of the 2011 season as he'll have 3 seasons as a starter by then.

In terms of the type of mistakes they make Sanchez seems to make more "trying to do too much" mistakes than Eli. This explains the higher amount of fumbles and is probably explained by his superior athletic ability; Sanchez is more fleet of foot, but he is also aware of it.

They BOTH make those head-scratching misreads of a defense. Those are the ones you want to go away most but, as someone already pointed out, Eli didn't start doing that consistently until the 2007 playoffs.
