I was just about to point that out but you beat me to it. I watched all the games this pre-season and if you would have asked me where we ranked in points scored prior to me knowing of this stat I would have said around 10th...very shocked..but you're right it's only pre-season.
Thst is indeed a nice stat. I want to see that aggressiveness carry over into the regular season with these guys. At the very least, this D should be very exciting to watch. Mark my words: Nicks will be the best WR to come out of the '09 draft as long as he stays in shape. To really have a dangerous passing game I think you guys need another go-to guy, but I personally think he'll be able to carry the load this year.
Rex even said at halftime against the Eagles that they'd only been running their vanilla D. If that's Vanilla I can't wait to see the whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry on top!
