to add we were missing what Pryor, Richardson and Powell against the Texans? I would love this re-match. Bengals are a tougher squad with a better front 7 and strong secondary.

Marvin Lewis is an inept coach, but I would rather play the Texans first.

McCarron is getting an MRI today. Could be huge trouble for the Bengals. They'd have all the pressure as they havent won a playoff game in about 20 years.

Looks like Jets will be 6, assuming a KC win. The only good thing is that KC has already clinched a spot. If Denver takes a huge lead on San Diego, the Chiefs do not have anything to play for.

How about we get in first before worrying about who we play...

We need to get in 1st guys. Stop making playoff matchup plans.

The Bills and Rex will play their hardest to beat the Jets. Jets better not think it will be an easy win. They need to come out like it's the super bowl.

We are fans, not players, we can discuss these scenarios.

EDIT - And they do not need to treat it like the super bowl. They need to treat it like it is. A game on the road against a bad team that they must win to get into the post season.

The Jets will beat the Bills handily and move on to the playoffs.

Any chance the Browns beat the Steelers this week?

While I am definitely optimistic about our Jets, this matchup with Rex and the Bills scares me! This is Rex's super bowl, and you know he's going to have that team firing on all cylinders! We better bring our A game if we're going to win this one, in Buffalo no less!

Why would anyone assume Rex is going to have his team firing on all cylinders? Such nonsense.

Rex took one of the better defenses in the league and turned it to shit.

still rather play the bengals but i can see why most would choose the texans as we are a better team then them on paper.

Well, his players always like playing for him. He's a players coach, at least he was here, and his Jets teams never packed it in, no matter how bad our record at the end of the year. His teams always fought hard for him to the end. Of course that could be different this year, in his first season with the Bills, but I wouldn't count on it...

Yes. But they're another team, like the Bills, that are a bit in disarray. Traditionally that's a great rivalry and otherwise I would've given them a good chance. Pettine tho will be desperate to get a win.

The Bills could win. Anybody can win Sunday. I don't know why you still want to cow tow to that schmuck tho. Pray that they stomp his ass

it has always been that way with guys rex coached. the 5-11 ravens with rex as DC gave the 18-1 pats a run for their money coming down to the very end in a bid to end their perfect season.

anyone who takes a bills team, one that already beat us on the road, lightly is being very naive

Nobody's taking anybody lightly anywhere. I wouldn't take them lightly if Marrone was the HC either. Remember that game last year? I'm not giving him credit for the Ravens. Can't do it. I know Rex wants all the credit, and takes it in pressers, but I'm not. Giving credit for the Ravens is naive. He wasn't the HC, and they had a HOF GM in place

    Some Scenarios for those interested:

    Jets get in with:

    -a Win over the bills
    or
    -a Steelers loss

Jets are the 5 seed if:

    -Jets win
    AND
    -Broncos Lose

    or

    -Jets win
    AND
    -Broncos win
    AND
    -chiefs lose

I still very strongly believe Oakland comes away with a win.
