What the hell? 1.The 49ers already lost... We're not "getting by Cincy" 2. Like I said... If Cincy beats Denver we will need the chargers to beat Denver week 17 and win out to get in over them
Broncos, not Bengals. Chances are New England, Pittsburgh, and KC will be clear favorites next week (at least 5 points), and if those three favorites win and Denver manages to beat Cincinnati at home (that one will probably be a tossup) the Jets are eliminated even though they could end up 10-6. Denver blowing today's game means that realistically speaking they're the team to be focusing on more than the other two.
Nah we're at the point where we need one loss from Denver Pitt or Chiefs and we're in if we win out Broncos are now in the same position to us as KC and Pitt
If we tie at 11-5 (lose to NE, Beat Jills) we beat the Denver 11-5 (lose to Bengals, Win Vs Chargers) Pats and Bengals are already in and of Bronco's (10-5) and KC and the Steelers (9-5) the only one we beat if matched is the Bronco's.
Jets played like crap for most of those games....don't you have a Dolphin game saved somewhere?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We aren't 11-5 if we split NE and Buff...Better if Broncos lose out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is so BS...lol KC is freaking 9-5 after going down 1-5 and losing Charles for the year. How the hell are they even in this spot? LOl. Then again, the Jets put themselves in this position.
They played Peyton Manning's Broncos, played Landry Jones' Steelers, and beat up on some powerpuffs towards the end of the year. They were fortunate to not get Big Ben. What makes me sick is how the Bolts let the Steelers win in the final play of the game and how Arians and the Cards let Landry Jones get in the game and throw numerous TDs on em.
Do people think we have 10 wins or something? I've seen a bunch of people say if Denver loses out we're in. That is totally false. We still need to win at least one of these next 2 even if they lose out.
Yep! my bad. Next week we need to win and hope the Bronco's lose to control our own destiny going into the final week. If we lose then we need either Pitt, KC or Bronco's (again) to lose or we're eliminated. Even if one of those teams chokes.......they'd still control their destiny into the final week. So we're relying on Johnny Manziel, Rivers having a day where his pocket doesn't collapse and AJ McCarron plus the Pats having a day off.
It's actually not bad that Pitt lost. If we end the season at 10-6 and Denver loses the next two, which is very possible considering they play Cincinatti and San Diego, we take the wild card spot over them. Denver is struggling big time at QB. I can definitely see them losing the next two
The Broncos losing to the Bengals (without Dalton) and to San Diego is a tall order. All of the other games for the Steelers and Chiefs look pretty bad too (Ravens, Browns) The best bet is that the Raiders beat the Chiefs in week 17.
Why is this so hard to digest for some? We need to win out. AND, KC, or the Steelers or the Broncos need to loose one game. Period. There is no other option. Forget about the Jets loosing one and still making it. It ain't happening, because the aforementioned teams will not loose the required last two. Forget about it.
Us missing playoffs to me comes down to the Thursday night game against the bills...we blocked the punt and had the ball on the 13 and all we needed was a td to win it...and we blew it...we have no one but ourselves to blame if we miss out
