1 game at a time people whatever we think might play out get ready for something totally different lol this is the NFL
Exactly. Probably we lose, then KC and Pitt both find a way to lose. Then we crush NE, and they both lose again. We're in the driver's seat! Then in week 17, they both win and we surrender 6 straight on-sides kicks and blow a 30 point lead at Buffalo and we're out. Whatever's most painful. -- yawn --
Talking heads fairly unanimous that Cinn circling the drain with AJ Mccarron This means Steelers grab AFC North if they continue to Win and Bengals hit the skids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is absolutely great news as there is a roughly 60% chance of it playing out this way IMO THAT DONE WE hold WC SPOT So Pitt win or losing is fine as long as Bungles continue with a loss. Ravens and Browns have an even chance to beat Cinn as opposed to being complete underdogs This is almost like a fail safe contingency if KC doesn't lose 2 , Pitt not losin 2 or one loss from each
Pats may sit their starters last 2 weeks as another starter goes down to IR. They really don't have much firepower right now and if they beat the titans sunday they are pretty much locking up the AFC.. last 2 games would then be pointless for them, win or lose. But losing more good players would take away their SB hopes.. So lets say we smash Dallas.. beat NE at home with their starters out.. then the season is on the line vs the BILLS! Perfect time to whoop some ass if u ask me!
No chance, they never do that. They play all out in all 16 games, regardless of record. Back in 2009, they played a meaningless game at Houston in week 17 (their exact seed was actually entirely determined by kickoff) and Wes Welker blew out his knee. It's just what they do. On top of that, the Patriots will not have the #1 seed locked up by then, anyway (since Denver owns the tiebreaker over them, head to head).
I think it's reasonable to expect each of the Jets, Steelers, and Chiefs to go 2-1 in their last 3. The pressure for each game changes dramatically this time of year--some teams trying to make the playoffs, some teams trying to save their coach's jobs, some players trying to make a case for a roster spot for next year, others going all out to meet some statistical contract incentive in an otherwise wasted season... What's going to matter is who loses to whom, therein lie the tiebreakers.
Sat 8:25 Must Win Sun 1:00 Ravens vs. Chiefs ---- Ravens Sun 4:25 Steelers vs. Broncos --- Broncos Sun 4:25 49ers vs. Bengals --- 49ers Wouldn't be the worst thing if the Raiders beat the Packers giving them so momentum leading up to the Raiders/Chiefs game. Looking way ahead if the Steelers win then we'll need the Bengals to beat Denver next Monday and then pray for the Broncos to get upset in week 17 against SD. For right now it's best that Denver beats Pitt.
Yes for sure. But it isn't the end of the world if Pittsburgh wins and CINCI lose. Because Denver only has to lose one of their final 2 and they play cinci and San Diego. And they could get to panic mode and bring back Peyton if they lose to Pittsburgh. Peyton is SHOT. Jets just gotta take care of their part
Denver only has to lose 2 of 3 and we win out we have tie breaker for wildcard. Only team we need to lose all 3 would be cinci and have squeelers win the division
I wouldn't count on the Ravens winning any of these games..their done for the year. Hopefully Manziel sparks the Browns and they can play spoiler.
That's assuming we also win out. I don't see the Ravens winning any remaining games doesn't mean we give up and don't cheer for them to win.
For sure. Everything here is moot unless we win out. I don't see Kansas City or Pittsburgh dropping two of their Final 3. Just saw on Twitter that Justin Houston could be out for the season for Kansas City. That's a huge loss
I Think the Jets can make it in at 10-6 if they lose to Dallas and win there last 2 if Steelers lose a game.
