If we go 3-0 and the Pats go 0-3 then the Division tiebreaker is strength of Victory as we'd be matched in all the other preceeding categories.

So it could come down to something bizarre like the Jags beating the Texans in Week 17 to give us the division???!!!?

AFC East goes to the Patriots if the Dolphins lose tonight...

It's possible for this to happen but unlikely. 0-2 by Chiefs and Steelers and 2-0 by us and we're in going to week 17. The Browns are a key team for us since they play both the Chiefs and the Steelers. If Johnny Manziel has some heroics and they win those games our chances of getting in go way up.

I was gonna suggest it was more likely that Satan would be ice skating to work, but yours works.:)

I figured it out. The Dolphins literally have to win out and so many other games are involved. It is crazy. But technically, the Jets (at this very moment) are still alive for the AFC East crown. :D

Even if we win out, we are still predicted to miss the playoffs.

Being a fatalist Jets fan, I feel like we're the fat kid in a game of musical chairs.

If Jets win out and P*ts lose the last 3 the Jets could win the division, tiebreaker would be record in common games. But P*ts play Tenn. so there goes that.
Jets might win out but hoping the P*ts to lose to Tenn. and Miami is a little much.
    One at a time though.

I think their record in common games would be the same so it would go to strength of victory, and theirs is already mathematically guaranteed to be better than ours.

One thing going for us is Baltimore has won 4 of last 5 against Pitt. Obviously vastly different teams than this year but you never know.

Well not sure what other game results I picked were but the playoff generator, had the Jets winning the division. Good thing I don't have a job because as much time as I have wasted on that playoff generator I would have been fired by now.

Denver is now the new cog in this confusing machine.

Jets would hold the tiebreaker over a 11-5 or 10-6 Broncos team.

The Texans lost last night because Brian Hoyer is the shittiest most unaware QB I've ever seen.

He blows. We would have beaten him.

I'm pretty confident that all 3 teams are not gonna win out, so if we do we will make it. It was just a huge bummer finding out after yesterday's games we pretty much have no shot at getting in at 10-6.

Week 16 games cannot be flexed. Week 17 can.
