Here's what I've got, we make the playoffs in all of these: - Jets win out, Steelers OR Chiefs go 2-1 - Jets go 2-1, Steelers OR Chiefs go 1-2 - Jets, Chiefs and Broncos all finish 11-5. - Jets win out, Bengals lose out (without Dalton) - Jets win out, Pats lose out (win AFC east) PIT and DEN play next week so we get help either way. Then DEN plays CIN. We might have one of the 10-2 teams we disregarded fall back below us. Root hard for OAK over DEN right now.
No way. You or I could play QB with that team and find a way to beat the 49ers or Ravens. If they played 3 quality teams definitely a chance but BAL and SF are two of the worst teams in the league and Cincy even without Dalton is one of the best.
So in that case, we can't tie New England, we need them to lose out to have a chance at the division. We'd likely not have the tiebreaker in the case that any of the teams that started the week 10-2 end the season at 11-5, so its probably back to hoping one of the teams that started the week 10-2 finishes at 10-6 or hoping that KC or Pittsburgh lose one of their remaining games.
The Jets make the playoffs over the Steelers if they both finish 10-6 or 9-7 and one of the Jets losses is to the Cowboys.
Thats a huge loss. Not expecting Cincy to miss the playoffs , but it could be huge if we make the playoffs and go there in the WC round. What a downer for Bengals fans..go into the day expecting to close out the division and keep up for a bye week. Now its going to be a hassle just to get in. McCarron did look alright aside from his pick-6.
Fucking Chiefs should of lost today they really aren't good I can see them losing one of there next 3 and steelers losing to Denver hopefully
It doesn't even come down to "not likely". Even before we get to SOV, it goes to common opponents. NE, Oak, Cle, Indy. Their win against the Raiders is the difference. If they tie us at 11-5 we're out. End of story.
Jets need to take it one week at a time and win out. All that momentum heading into the playoffs creates a monster contender. @ Dallas New England @Buffalo
Perfectly done. In a nut shell. The journey got steeper and harder. We need to run the table, KC and/or the Steelers need to loose one, or the Bengals finish 11-5. Ain't no way that either the Steelers or the Chiefs loose two. We must be undefeated going into Buffalo and jam a victory down Rex's throat. Now how fitting is that?
3 very good teams in the AFC fighting for 2 spots. The Dalton injury was very hurtful to our cause today. We just need to keep winning, plain and simple.
I'm not a SOJ fan. I'm not that much of a pessimist, mostly a realist. But holy sh*t I look at all scenarios and do not like our chances one bit.
what a pisser man. most years 10-6 is plenty good. we're peaking at the right time and 11-5 might not even cut it. c'est la vie
Plus two teams will get in with less than 10 wins most likely in the NFC East and the AFC South Sickening. But we really have no one to blame but ourselves. Philly, Oakland, Houston and Buffalo. Winning just 1 of those games would've given us an insane advantage right now.
I mean still 11-5 is enough to make the playoffs cmon now . It is sickening my friends could be watching there teams in the playoffs (giants Eagles ) and I might. But on the flip side if we win out and make the playoffs we would be going in winning 6 straight!
They had it on the 1 yard line at the end of the game, and needed a yard to tie the game up, but they committed two penalties.
