Until we are 100% absolutely, mathematically eliminated from all playoff scenarios, expect to see at least 2 threads like this a week
I see the Broncos continuing to collapse. Jacksonville isn't that great of a team and will start losing, just take a look at their schedule. I think Cincinnati or Pittsburgh gets the Division or one of the Wild Card spots. That means Jets, Miami, Tenn, Houston, Ravens(Jags and Broncos) are fighting for 1 spot. We have a chance, everyone pretty much has a tough schedule.
Don't look for either Jacksonville or Denver to make the post season, meaning both WC spots are open. So many "experts" in the media are talking about the Titans running the table and making it. So in their "expert" opinion, it would only make sense that all teams in the hunt have a shot. One thing is for certain. If a team from the east makes it consider it one helluva accomplishment considering the schedule.
No way are we beating out the Colts and Bengals to go 10-6. Even if we do we'd have to have like 4 other teams epic fail their last 6 games as well.
Below I've drawn the Jets playoff picture for you: __________________________________ | | |__________________________________| Any questions?
If we can win 3 games straight going into the atlanta game, we will be 1 game back or tied for the final spot... Lets wait until then to start talking people...
Let's beat Carolina before we talk playoffs. Not the same team as early on in the year. Jets are 4-6. I feel good about the Buffalo game if we take this one but after that I think we're fucked.
and the bengals, falcons and chargers were not the teams then, that they are now, that we still have to play...
I appreciate this optimistic thread. But this is year is another waste. Revis Mangold Brick all are adding notches to their belts. By the time this team is playoff ready they will be retiring.
It won't happen. Denver/Baltimore/Cincy (or Steelers)/Miami/Jacksonville/Houston are all ahead of us. 0% chance.
