Kam Chancellor is better than Aaron Rouse with a good attitude. Best suited as a Strong Safety (big dude listed 6'4" 224 - might be a bit generous but big enough to lay the lumber). Right now he is playing out of place at FS and still seeing good production but he is a better run stopper.

I posted about junior cornerback Alterraun Verner from UCLA in the other thread. He's not very hyped, so he might not come out for the '09 Draft. He's had a pick six in each of his three years at UCLA, and though he only has 2 INTs this year, he has 11 passes defensed. When I watched him play, I was also impressed by his pure cover skills. If he comes out this year, I think he'd be a really good mid-round value and a nice fit at nickel back.

Dewayne Walker knows how to recruit defensive backs. UCLA has a hell of a defensive coordinator - he should be the head coach there.

Verner is a very good prospect.

Frantz Joseph, Linebacker, Florida Atlantic Univeristy

Joseph is a transfer from Boston College - he's 6'3 235, and he'd be a great fit inside in the 3-4.

The kid's a tackling machine...he's had two straight 100 tackle seasons on a poor defense. He can hit and cover: just what we need inside on this defense.

I've seen a couple FAU games, and Joseph seems to shed blocks well. His size doesn't really limit him vs. the run. He plays big.

    Projected Round: 5th-7th

well he is two years away and Im only making this comment cause I have seen him run all but one play ( But other people say he is a good 2010 prospect) Johnathon Dwyer from GT,. He has some good speed but he reminds me of a stronger version of Charles scott he does not go down without a fight

Jonathan Dwyer is the closest thing to Adrian Peterson since he was drafted. No one is on the same level as AD, but Dwyer is an angry runner with a combination of size, speed, and power that most backs don't have.

It's not just the Triple Option that's inflating his numbers - the kid's getting something like 10 to 12 carries in most games and gaining 120-130 yards.

He's ripping off big run after big run and people are starting to notice him. I'd love to see what he could do with 20-25 carries a game.

If Dwyer comes out next year, he's a sure-fire first rounder.

    Kenny Britt = Beast.

Tall, fast, quick, strong, and a willing blocker.

Before I thought people were sleeping on DHB...and sure they are...but Britt is a talented mofo himself. He's not DHB fast, but DHB isn't as stout as Britt is as a WR either. Britt's got just a sick all around game.

Just the fact that he's a Rutgers WR makes me hope the Jets draft him. 10 catches for 197 yard today. Dude is a SICK talent at WR.

Wow...Greg Hardy just destroyed Ciron Black with the same inside move twice...blows right by him really...that pretty much ens any shot at an LSU comeback.

Seriously...this is a top 3 defensive playmaker in college football when he's healthy. And they use him at DE, LB, and he's even lined up at TE and caugh passes.

Peria Jerry is a damn good player himself.

Oher hasn't blown me away this game, but he hasn't hurt himself eithe. He's just as a good player...and he gets to the second level very quickly. His feet are unreal for a man his size.

I really like Nutt as a HC...no wonder Oher wanted to stay when he could have/would have been a top 5pick last year...hell its arguable that he could have went over Long at #1.

Britt is a beast, he's probably my favorite player on the team...he's having a monster year but because he plays for rutgers nobody talks about him. He's gonna be great in the NFL

if britt comes out, i think he could slip to 3rd for us, but i still think fo some reason that the jets wont pick another wr.

I think he can go as high as the first round. The size, speed, and well rounded-ness of his game can be enticing. Unless something comes up during his offseason, I think he goes Day 1. The Steelers would love a guy like Britt.

Theres a pretty strong WR class this year. I like Crabtree, Heyward-Bey, Britt, Maclin, Tate, Iglesias, Murphy, and a few more but I'm getting lazy.

LeSean McCoy is cementing his status as my #1 back in this draft.

He's the only reason Pitt even has a shot on offense.

Connor Barwin is going to make some team happy in the future.

Greg Carr is another WR I like...not anything special or anything but really tall with good hands and is tough enough to go all over the field.

Brandon Tate tore his ACL and MCL, so his injuries should push him further down on the draft boards...Britt should go higher because of Tate's injury.

Iglesias is the real deal. Murphy would have huge numbers if he didn't play on such a talented team.

I like Crabtree too, but his route running is kind of suspect - he doesn't have very many double moves - and he drops a fair share of balls - but both of these attributes can be coached.

Heyward-Bey has the most potential because of his height/speed combination.

Maclin is sick...there's really no other way to describe him.

Watching Percy Harvin I see a lot of Chris Johnson...he can really line up all over the place.

Guys like Jarrett Dillard, Greg Carr, Derrick Williams, and Aaron Kelly should turn out to be good pros.

Patrick Turner out of USC is my sleeper pick: he's huge and he never lived up the hype at SoCal. He's one of those guys that could be a better pro than a college player.

Boo Robinson, the DT at Wake, is going to shoot up boards in the offseason if he comes out.

I doubt he does come out...but he's one of my favorite 3-4 NT prospects in college.

Alphonso Smith is going to be a good corner in the NFL.

Scott McKillop is extremely good at reading the play, he's fundamentally sound, he's a leader on the D, and he's all over the field for Pitt. Good player Aaron Curry is a similar player but with superior athletic ability. I'd love either of these guys inside for us.

If he stays for another year at Pitt, he might have trouble being next year's top back...mainly because of DeMarco Murray and Jonathan Dwyer.

He isn't going to stay. Staying would hurt his draft stock significantly...it's the plight of being a RB...it's the one position where I LIKE juniors to come out if they're elite talents. Theres no reason not to...it's fast millions and only elite backs really have more than 3-4 good/great years in the league.

Even then, I think he's better than both of those guys.

I don't think we've seen a prospect like McCoy since LT. It's going to turn alot of people off to say it...but the size, body type, and running style...they're almost clones. Doesn't mean much to compare his style to LT...it's just style in the end...LT's resume took more than style to make.

Everette Brown has 3.5 sacks tonight. I think he's got 12.5 on the season...

Brown or Hardy is going to be my favorite debate of the offseason. I like them both better than Selvie.

Kory Sheets is the best NFL prospect coming out of Purdue IMO and probably the one of most underrated prospects in the entire country.

Yea, he's a good prospect as a runner. He's not a RB that'll go in the first round, but he'll be similar to Matt Forte in that he can handle theloard early and often.

Another good thunder to Washington's lightning prospect.

Oh...we haven't really talked about Gerald McCoy here but if he comes out he's going to be sick.

He'd do fine as a 3-4 end IMO, but this guy can play anything he wants to. Strong as a motherfucker...

If he doesn't come out this year, he's an elite prospect next year.
