Relax man, its waiver claims, dont be so judgmental. Teams have caught lightning in a bottle before with some of these cuts, even the "successful teams".

Ganaway claimed by the Rams. At least he won't toil on and o9ff our practice squad all year. No great loss.

We might strike lightning in a bottle keeping what we have. Just don't like the way we use the bottom 5 slots on our roster and PS. Would rather see us scout effectively and develop. Signing guys for a few days, cut them, sign them, etc.

Really like Gates and was shocked Miami let him go, but then again these are the same Dolphins who let go of Brandon Marshall and Chad Johnson in a span of four months, so I guess it shouldn't surprise me.

Here's hoping Reuland, a guy who can block, means the end of the Jeff Cumberland era is near. Waste of space POS ... and nevermind. Cut the wrong TE.

Worse teams probably got the prizes of the waiver bunch, I'm just holding out for someone to fall to us that has more than 4th string potential.

One write up say Reuland can't block at all. Then read something from his draft year that says he is a blocker. Who the hell knows at this point. Perhaps an upgrade to Epps. We shall see.

Meh... Dolphins have NO WRs and they cut him... doesn't bode that well for him does it? Would've much preferred Anthony Armstrong if we wanted a deep threat guy.

Will be interesting to see... at 6'4" 260lbs he has the size to be a blocking TE. But I read the same things...

Can't we trade a friggin 6th rd pick for a decent blocking TE?! It's not like we know how to use them anyways (see Griffin & Ganaway)!

I was being ironic... anyways he would say hel-ll-ll-lo-o.

    In other news there's a Sanchez-Reuland connection.

Reuland went to Mission Viejo HS with Sanchez as @dphudson52 pointed out #nyj

Were they claimed? The jets are one of the few teams that tries to load up on guys cut.

How many people will be claimed?

    16. You have to claim the same number of guys as your waiver claim position. (jk)

I meant, how many players cut yesterday to get to 53 will be claimed today. Some think many great gems are to be found and many good players will be claimed before #16 comes up. I'm thinking this is not a draft where everybody wants someone.

    Will 25 guys get claimed today? 35? 50 ??

Hard to believe a Dolphin team in need of WRs would let someone go of talent at that position. Even a little special teams ability would have kept him on the Fins if he was any good at WR.

Wow, we must really like Damon Harrison!

    Brian Costello ‏@BrianCoz
From his agent RT @HowardShatsky: The NY Jets have released DL Marcus Dixon.

Agreed. Although we are running a very different system than the Dolphins... oh well, time will tell. Doesn't seem to have very good hands though... but Sparano has been around him one year so I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Marcus Dixon cut. Guess D Harrison is a keeper.

I thought he looked good. Made several nice plays and really pushed the pocket in the Back-up Bowl against Philly.
