The Single End around is fine....but when Cutesy waves his magic wand...and turns it into double end around...that's when shit hits the fan.

I still remember the Double End Around he called against Denver in the rain 2 years ago....i hated it then...and I hated it today.

LOL @ Mike Leach. Uhm, all of you "ground and pound" lovers . . . I don't think he's your guy.

I know this is off topic, but how come we never see the Jets lining up Holmes, Edwards, Cotchery, Smith and Keller and running a quick WR screen to Edwards or Holmes or maybe a swing pass too the outside Cotchery.

I don't even like the normal reverses that he runs but at least serve the purpose of keeping the defense honest on all the fake reverses they run on their dive plays. I can't imagine that success rate of a double reverse in the NFL is above 10% the players are too fast.

    no shit....

I think I started to facepalm at the moment LT was getting tackled as he was trying to hand off the ball to Cotchery......nice call, Schotty.

Take away the fake punt and Sanchez's 20yd scramble at the end of the game and you are left with 27 rushes for 82yrd. That is an average of 3 yrds per attempt. We did not play a run heavy gameplan because it wasn't working.

It wasnt that bad of a playcall, all it takes to win in a game as low scoring as this one was is one big play. Rather take a chance on the double ended dildo play than continue laying an egg.

Who had the Jets long rush of they day, Sanchez or Weatherford? You guys are right the run game was the only way we were gonna win this one.

Like when Schotty called it in Denver a few years ago?

    *Cotchery fumbled that one, right?*

I keep saying this. It seems like they never pull it off. If it doesn't work, stop doing it.

It's probably been said today but I just got on...

Why when Schotty has months to gameplan for Baltimore, he comes up with handcuffs on Sanchez and a bad day at the office.

Now he has an extra week to prepare for a weakened Green Bay defense and does this? I understand their were 6 drops today, a fumble, and 2 crap INTs when the receivers just assume the play is over when they hit the ground...But the substance of Schotty's playcalling was just confusing. 3rd and 11, calls a 5 yard slant. Reverse with Cotchery? HB pass with Tomlinson? I mean he was simply getting desperate.

I hope against Detroit this hangover is gone and the offense looks like it did during the win streak.

Well said. That play needs to disappear into some fat chick's meat wagon, never to be seen again.

Did I miss a play or are you talking about the toss to LT, reverse? That wasn't a double end around, but is was shitty none the less.

I was more frustrated with the "tackle in motion" horse shit he kept calling. What happened to the line up and beat there guys with our guys?

    Tomlinson- 16 Attempts, 54 yds, (Long-8)
    Greene- 6 Attempts, 22 yds (Long-8)

Anyone who is delusional enough to defend our 4.1 yd avg. is delusional.

The running game wasn't working today. That's all. GB did a good job and if things had gone like they usually do for us LT or Greene would have broken one in the second half. Wasn't in the cards today.

We always run several trick plays in the regular offense every game so don't whine that the ones we ran today weren't as successful.

The drops and questionable turnovers (or just plain turnovers) were the story of the game. Add a numbskull fake punt and missed FG, and there's the difference today. The defense may have played its best game of the year and deserved to win..
