Neither is Geno Smith. Tampa got Glennon for a steal, why not take him. I bet he starts over Freeman at some point this season.
Why is comparing him to Sanchez so farfetched? If you look further than the skin and athletic ability, they possess many of the same traits- both impressed at interview and meetings with organizations; moving up draft boards due to "leadership" and "maturity". Both arent extremely accurate QBs (Sanchez isnt accurate at all). Manuel and Sanchez have both questions on football intelligence, feel for the game, pocket presence, and ability to read a defense. EJ of course has the athletic ability going for him, but I think Sanchez had a better arm and was more polished.
Because he'll always go against what the Jets do. And he thinks Sanchez is one of the top QBs in the game since he got to 30 wins faster than others.
I never really liked E.J. I did like Geno though, I was one of those who wouldn't have been mad to grab him at 9, so I'm very happy that we got him at 39. I think Geno does things better than E.J. He's more accurate, better decision maker, and more athletic.
Well exactly. I just want to see if he has an actual opinion (for once), instead of just spewing out bullshit thats pro-Sanchez. I guess not.
Only time will tell, hopefully they will both be good and the Jets and Bills can fight it out for a few years. As the token Bills fan, I can tell you why I like EJ. He is truly a leader and a great character young man. Good family, church, the whole package. I also think that he exudes strength and confidence. Plus he is a winner. Never lost a bowl game. All these things I am listing?.. are intangibles, the stuff that you cannot teach. Geno has the eye popping numbers though, no debating that.
