If Morgan plays in one of these last two games, Sam is definitely gone. We’re going to have to see what happens with these last two games and where we land in the draft to even guess at this point.
He can be signed to a new contract after this season is over - he doesn't have to go to free agency at all or wait for a fifth year option. Someone above said something about Darnold demanding big money for a new contract but a player can only expect that if they've demonstrated they're worth it. There's no way anyone is going to pay him the 25 million or so that the option would require. For a couple of weeks I've been saying the Jets should offer in the 20 million area for two years; now it makes even more sense. A contract like that keeps more options open, whether you end up keeping him or trading him.
unfortunately this isnt the movie Draft Day and as the Jags have nothing at QB there is not a hope in hell they would trade away the #1 for anything
Braden Mann proved he's a baller. His leg looked like it was tired over these last several weeks but I have a feeling next season, he'll be better prepared and we'll see those huge punts again.
Yes it did.. That 1st down by Gore didn't do much for us either.. I'm a believer in the theory that things happen for a reason. Maybe we were never meant to draft TLaw. Maybe Fate decreed we draft someone lower down OR just keep Darnold and trade down for more picks.
The only reason anything happens in Jetland is for misery to continue to spread unimpeded by simple things like good fortune or mercy.

If Morgan suits up over these last two games it will be a miracle. Gase isn't that kinda coach. If he was, we wouldn't see Gore every other play. Does Morgan even have a locker with his name on it yet?
It's pretty easy as far as I'm concerned. As bad as Darnold is, he's far and away a better option than Fields.
