Ugh, now you're talking apples and oranges.

Mo is far from ruined. He hasn't been perfect of late, but he's still got it, and he's getting better every appearance.

I landed 4 choice seats to Saturday's (todays) Yankees game. I'm a Mets fan and have a strong personal dislike for Clemens. I guess I'll just have to keep my mouth shut though, I don't want to get my ass kicked.

I can put my Mets bias away though, and just enjoy what should be an absolutely electric atmosphere at The Stadium

I was being sarcastic. Royal was complaining abou the way Joe has used Mariano just like some folks complained about the way Herm used Curtis. Marinao has been the best in baseball for a lon time, obviously Joe didn't hurt him and Herm used Curtis less than his previus coaches so obviously Herm didn't run Curtis.

Your quote about not using him properly reminded me of the complaining about Herm using Curtis.

Bautista leads off with an 8 pitch ab and a single? Not good for Clemens.

He's looked ok so far, he gave up the single then the WP got him to 2nd which led to the run but you couldn't expect him to be perfect in his return.

    rocket is a cheater,
look at todays game, after every pitch he rubs his hand under the bill of his baseball cap. i cant believe the pirates havent picked up on this yet. Its so obvious. He reaches for the bill and rubs his hand and doesnt even bother to adjust the cap. Why else would he reach for it if not for the hidden substance he's using to doctor the ball. Dont believe me? check out the game

The bats need to be on today against a guy who is 2-8 in the NL.

3-1 Yanks as Cano drives in Jorge. I love playing these NL teams.

Yup he's cheating. So are the hundreds of other pitchers in MLB who do the exact same thing. Way to be informed.

His dancing stuff looks very good so far. His regular stuff is a bit uncontrolled, but not poor.

He's pitching pretty well for his first major league action in what, 9 months? Let's keep in mind, he didn't even have the benefit most pitchers do of Spring Training. Granted, it's his own fault, but it doesn't change the fact that this is the first time he's seeing elite hitters in 3/4 of a year.

He has been the backup to Bob for years and I think he also does the Giants full time now that Bob doesn't call the Giant games. I don't know his nameut it does sound like he is doing a Bob impression. My friend and I went to a game in I think 1999 and Bob missed the game b/c he was sick and the backup was in. The second we heard him we both looked at each other wondering where Bob was but nobody around us seemed to notice so I guess he does a pretty good impression.
