    Who do you think can go downfield and catch the ball? Santonio? Detroit linebacker - not even DB - caught up with him and tackled him from behind. He is not your fastest burner - Braylon was.

    I think it was a combination of lack of a deep threat and lack of protection. If there isn't enough time, Mark has to take a sack, force a throw, or throw it away. Combine lack of time with someone who cannot stretch the field with their speed, we need a lot of time for someone to get open down the field. An example of this is Tone running triple moves to get open.

    The other times we tried to get Tone deep were on rollouts where instead of dragging across the field like the play is run 99% time, tone then takes the route upfield. The couple time I remember them running this, a LB or DL read the play and forced Mark to make a decision before Tone could turn it upfield.
