Saying all the right things about not wanting to force the BAL system on the Jets, but with all the talk about VG I think they really want him to be their Terrell Suggs so they can use their old system.
To be fair, The personel now is much closer to "The System: what Ryan and Pettine run. When Mangini got here, the Personell was somewhere in the middle and needed a lot of work either way.... Even when they ran the 4-3 the Jets never stopped the run well enough.. Wether Mangini rana 4-3 or 3-4, he needed a "Jenkins" in the middle and not Dewayne Freaking Robertson. No matter what they ran, Jenkins coming here would have been a tremendous help, When healthy.
