So does SUNY Cortland give up the millions of dollars the school and town generate from holding the Jets camp up there to appease these folks? I Doubt it. I'm all for bringing them back to Hofstra but since Hofstra stopped their football program I don't know what their facilities are like these days..

This is incorrect on many points. 1 he was indicted by the people. He was found guilty and sentenced by a judge.
You do get to know about any crime commited by anyone who lives any where if you know where to look and care enough
about your community to take a look.

Which one of those Celebs you named committed murder and forced animals to have sex and breed in order to force them to kill each other?

He did do that multiple times its in the court documentation from his case. The repeatedly took a hammer to "put the badly injured dogs to sleep" after suffering
injuries that would prevent them from continuing to fight.

Once again breeding an animal for the purpose of watching them fight to the death for your visual enjoyment is not the same as breeding animals for
food and survival in my opinion so comparing the two makes you look ignorant.

I bet 90 percent of those ppl who signed the petition are either Giant fans or don't watch Football. I think ppl like vick makes uneducated ppl think Pitbulls are scary and that they kill ppl cause that's how their breed is. It is not the dogs fault. It's the owner in almost every situation except inbreeding . Little poodles will attack someone if they are not properly trained. I know people who train them to be guard dogs and some that train them to be tame and lovable. It is always the Owner's fault and Vick did no justice to the cause !

If you're not gonna root for scumbags might as well find another sport to watch. Every team is full of them.

Dogs are breed for hunting and enjoyment .
    Cows are breed to eat.
How are these the same? So You can breed Kids and have them fight to the death cause their your's ?

I can not comment on that Ray Lewis situation because he was never convicted of murder.

The drunk driving incident both men were drunk and he made a decision to get into that car with him while both were intoxicated.

How do you compare these situation to a man who developed built and funded a buisness of forcing fights to the death between animals?
Then bashing their skulls in when they were nno longer of use to them?Bad Newz Kennels

By "made a decision to get into the car" do you mean the pedestrian made the decision to walk into the moving car?

Vick is washed up, injury prone, a distraction, and an overall douchebag.
still can't believe we signed him.
Really hoping Geno starts every game and we part ways with Vick after the season.

Ok maybe Ray was a bad example but Dante Stallworth killed a pedestrian drinking and driving and only got a 30 day sentence

Lol. I think he was confusing him with the Cowboy that killed his buddy. The reference to Donte Stallworth should have been the clincher.

My apologies to bot of you for my response idk why but when i read the drunk driving comment my mind automatically went to the teammates form dallas.

The Donte Stallworth dui is a disgusting case of the family wanting money over justice. If i remember correctly they even spoke up for him at his sentencing date
after coming to a undisclosed financial agreement with him that also protected him from any civil law suites.

Having a large amount of experience with the courtroom conduct of judges i can assure you when things like this happen the judge loses
all sympathy for the family's loss and would have a lot to do with why the mansluaghter charges were imposed on a minimum basis.

Also please dont mistake my hatred for Vick being a Jet as my opinion being he shouldnt be allowed to play. I just dont want him on the team that i love. Once again and i have said it before my issue with vick is a personal issue and i understand that.

Are you advocating that Vick makes reparations to the dogs themselves? You fake animal rights activists kill me. I hope that you are a vegan and take such a superior attitude with the meat industry and all the meat eaters of the world or maybe you're just comfortable in your hypocrisy.

I'm a dog person but I am far from delusional enough to equate an animals life, any animal, with the life of a human. The problem is that people like you fail to make that distinction. The audacity you have to compare a pedophile with someone convicted of animal cruelty help me understand why the foreign individuals I meet call Americans dumb.

The only respect I've lost for Vick is that he pandered to the moronic masses and showed remorse for a crime that would be a health code violation if they were tasty beef or pork instead of man's best friend. But what should I expect from a genius population who can cry pro life and pro capital punishment in alternating breaths. Or confuse faith and terrorism. Or feel justified taking a child's life simply because of fear. Man, our freedom of ignorance, I mean speech makes me proud to be an American.

No did not say that he should make reparations to the animals he killed and the ones that still live threw the injuries and pain that Vick forced apon them mainly because you cant.
Its an impossible task to complete.

Once again you moronic people who seem to keep associating eating meat and what Vick did as the same thing are the delusional ones.

And i love you people who think because i think what vick did was a disgusting act as a human that i am an animal activist or some tree eating vegan. I am neither.

What i am is a human who finds what he did so fucking disgusting that it is extremely hard to nearly impossible to support anything that promotes him as anything
other then a disgusting human being.

Comparing domesticated animals to food is nothing more then a last ditch effort to make a point. It never works and never will.

No, what's ignorant are the people that don't understand the petition, or why people would be behind it. We are talking about a person that represents the N.Y. Jets. Allowing him on the SUNY Cortland campus for training camp suggests the endorsement of the man. I won't endorse Michael Vick so long as I shall live. That's not being ignorant. He did everything to himself, and I love it when people turn around and say that WE are the ones with the problem.

He may have "done his time," but he was never really effectually even suspended from the NFL. He did his time and jumped right back into the league the moment it was actually possible. The guy went bankrupt about this time, and was allowed to become a multi-millionaire again. Vick is so lucky be given post-prison opportunities that it's beyond my belief. Don't give me any shit about how he paid, the guy absolutely made out like a bandit in the end considering what he did. The guy did not deserve a second chance in the NFL in my opinion.

I just read through 3 pages of BS. Guess you're just as bored as I am waiting for the draft. Vick is just another one of the pickups the Jets made and after 35 plus years of watching and rooting....I'm gonna wait for the results of his performances before I make any comments about the new QB.
