If this is true then the Jet's organization lost a once in a life-time chance to give a HOF player a shot at ending his career with a potential shot at the super bowl. That would be sad !!

MBGreen, If Favre "chooses to retire" it's only because the Jet's org let him know (behind the scenes)they wanted to move on. Brett didn't come to New York with his family in tow for just a "six month shot" at winning the SB !!! It's really pathetic and sad if this is the way Favre will end his career as a New York Jet !!
