What puzzled me, was Hackett had the O rolling, Zach was rolling out, things were going nicely... then the roll-outs stopped, & the O kinda stalled after tying the game. Why? For once they were letting Zach play fast, then inexplicably they kinda slowed things down. It's like the CS has a mental block, & needs to slow things down. Anyway, a partial kudo to Hackett... a kudo to Zach for somehow being able to show something positive, after going through 2 years of public humiliation. And kudos to the D, for the most part, for being able to stop the bleeding after that disgusting 1st-quarter. I won't blame them for the last drive, as they actually stopped the drive twice, even though the refs would have none of that. Nice to see Gipson & Ruckert integrated into the O. Where was Mecole... did he even see the field against his former team? I never wanted them to sign Cook, what a dumb waste of money... I'd rather see Carter, & Abanikanda. And lastly, on that Breece run, one second before, I said to my gf "It's Breece time." Gotta try that more often...
Go live in North Korea if it makes you angry when people don't share your opinions it's where you belong. Calling people troll's when they are angry when there team is constantly losing and come some place to vent makes you the troll.
I am beginning to cool off after that BS ending decided by the zebras. If Zach can play anything close to the way he did tonight, we will beat Denver. With any luck we can be 3-3 going into the by. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that Zach is feeling more comfortable and continues to play the way he did tonight. That's a big IF, but maybe we will be playing meaningful games in December.
Generally I’d say the opposite, that Saleh was ignoring analytics by kicking the field goal rather than going for it on 4th and 1. But I do take his point in this case, that even if they get the first, time was running out and they’d probably end up kicking a fg anyway. Of course they’d have been closer and might have made it…
I really hope so. This was the best game of Zach's career. Highest passer rating of his career. Too bad a few unlucky bounces here and there and the refs prevented the W.
Give us more confident gunslinger Zach. You can make these quick decisions, don't wait on the play to develop when it's not there
That’s what it looked like. It was like his brain was finally in a rhythm of “one, two, throw”…not “one, two, what do I do?, three, four, oh crap!”
or trying to get closer, zw might turn it over and this board would be screaming as to why not go for the points. Monday morning qb this board is
You regurgitate the same shit weekly, for weeks now. Zack had a decent game. Since zack is all you are able to talk about, then I expect you either stay quiet all week, or out yourself as a troll
Sorry but it is year 5 of Douglas and year 3 of Saleh, moral victories (losses) shouldnt be a thing anymore
Perspective is nice and all. It was fun watching the team play well and I don’t want to throw too much cold water on it but I will. 1 - the Chiefs play a lot of games like that and win because they get a lot of benefits from the league and have the best QB and coach in the game. 2 - unfortunately the reality for us is that we’re still 1-3 with more road games left than home games.
After having a night to sleep on it, I've eased up on my officiating stance. Don't get me wrong, they were still awful and I wish they had given us another opportunity in the final few minutes, but we had some missed opportunities as well. Zach missing GW for a wide-open TD, CJ's dropped pick, Zach's fumble with 6 minutes to go, the defense spotting KC 17 points in the first quarter before they realized they were playing a football game, and I'm sure there's a couple more that are escaping me. No one should hang their head about taking the defending champs down to the wire. Gotta hope this is something that everyone can build off of.
The Kansas City Swifties dared him to pass and for once he did successfully before they backed off and played a normal defense where we seemed to lose steam. So the key going forwards is whether he and Hackett can now manage a game where the opposition has some respect for you and it's not just a case of going to Garrett or Lazard in man coverage. Otherwise I fear that this all-time best game by Zach might go the way of his all-time best game of last year when we beat the Bills only to bottom out against the Pats.
Baghdad Bob was perhaps the biggest reason why the team lost last night behind the one-sided officiating. Again, 1st half mis-managed TO's. Turtled on 4th down expected KC to bail the team out with an offsides. The man is 12-26 and 1-10 in his last 11. I guess wins aren't as important as they used to be. For once Zach played well. Hackett might be on the verge of coming up with an offense that suits the kid. Now if we only had an HC....
That explanation makes no sense. Gonna have to kick the FG anyway, ok, you have 30 seconds and 3 timeouts. You can probably get another 15-20 yards in that time. Why kick a 52 yarder when you can make it a gimmie?
I remember when long term members got banned around here. Why they keep letting a new troll troll is beyond me.
