They really like throwing people out of windows in Russia. None of that sophisticated assassination shit like North Korea, just dump them right out there into the street.

We gonna do 2024 death pool or continue with the same picks?

I'd be cool with continuing but I would want to re-draft a few. Shannen Doherty is clearly using her medical condition to stay as relevant as possible, she doesn't even look sick in person.

We could declare the 2023 winner, in about 42 hours since there is still a chance someone takes out Putin, and restart the draft order where you can replace your correct 2023 hits and any other picks you choose. Anyone not in the pool that would like to join could be added to the draft rotation. First hit of the new year still gets bonus points. Since we already have a full team of picks any deaths of current picks would count unlike when we started last year where the rule was none count until the draft is done.

I'm going to include all current participants in this post so we can see what everyone thinks. @abyzmul @Section 336 @BrowningNagle @JackBower @FJF @The Waterboy @Savatage , I think this was also the draft order. Let's see what everyone else has to say.

I am good with that plan myself but if others want a complete re-draft that’s fine too

I can do either one, it might be easier just to re draft

Also, FJF hasn't been on here in a while, may want to verify people are still playing

Well I tagged everyone that had been in so we'll see what the responses are. Either way we will be getting started a few days late into the year.

Congrats to the 2023 Grim Reaper, @abyzmul

Slow year overall for the group but Abyzmul made a good call on the Unabomber who finally decided to hang it up and added Terry Funk to pad his lead. Browning Nagle also had a couple of hits to take the 1st loser trophy

Looks like everyone except @JackBower and @FJF are OK with anything, so I say we just keep it going. That way we can start scoring immediately.

We can just restart the draft where it left off, @Savatage had the last pick and since it is a snake draft @Savatage would draft first and then The Waterboy, @FJF, @JackBower, @BrowningNagle, @Section 336 , and then @abyzmul would pick twice and reverse the order.

You do not have to draft anyone if you want to roll with your current roster. All picks are active as soon as made since we have all our picks, or almost all if you had a hit or 2 last year.

We'll just roll with FJF and JackBower current rosters. Bower has posted elsewhere recently so looks like FJF is the only one that hasn't been seen around here.

If everyone is ok with this or has other suggestions just let me know. We could start the re-draft tomorrow, same rules as before for picks and timing.

Everyone else was ok with just keeping it going and I'm just a lazy bastard who doesn't want to do a new thread so I'm voting for keeping it going also. And you can replace all your picks it's up to each individual how many they change out, you just wait out each round for your turn, replace one, and then wait for your next turn.

    Savatage is on the clock

I'm also going to ask @Brook! To change the title and if we get anyone else wants to join in they can just get in the draft order after Savatage

@Brook! Please change the thread title to "Perpetual Death Pool 2024 Edition"
    Thank you kind sir

Figure we can just keep this thread going year in and year out, just announce a winner every Jan 1st and change the year in the title

Okay, if I'm understanding this correctly(I can be daft) I'm not adding, I'm replacing?

I'll go with Bruce Willis replacing Artie Lange.

I just realized I picked Terry Funk and Unabomber basically at the same time because of the snake draft.
