Some of the darksiders are laughing at this possibility just like they said why would Faneca every come here either. They ate crow on Faneca wouldn't it be great for them to eat some more crow this offseason!!

Moss turned disinterested when he saw the coach (Art Shell) carry on an unnnecessary grudge with Jerry Porter into the season thus wrecking morale. The thing I like about Moss is that he's real and he'll tell you feel. If things are going bad...he doesn't hide his dissatisfaction. Now that's probably bad for team sports, but it's something I can appreciate in the real world.

It probably isn't going to happen but it if it did, it would really piss Belli off and make his team weaker while making ours stronger. What's not to like?

Trade Coles and Pennington as a package, sign Culpepper and Moss as a package (Daunte as Kellen's cattleprod/backup, not the starter) and we have legitimate Super Bowl dream overnight.
If Kellen falters or fails, Culpepper is still as good as Pennington's going to be as a backup: banged up, seasoned, reliable. Chad has a noodle arm and great legs. Daunte has a great arm and gimpy legs. It's a wash.
Moss/Cotchery/Stuckey can be as dynamic as Moss/Stallworth/Welker. And there's a true #1 WR in our mix. With Coles and Cotchery alone, it's still only two #2's.
If Clemens has a stronger arm than Brady, hopefully he'll soon be getting as much time in the pocket and Moss can destroy almost any backfield deep. Almost any, so don't go for my jugular.
Coles/Pennington money is also a wash with a Moss/Culpepper signing. Moss will command the most out of these four players, but Culpepper could command the least. If there's a team that is wiling to entertain a Coles/Pennington package for ANY single 1st day pick, we're doing alright.
    KC?
Maybe even the Fish since the FO/CS are all so chummy anyway.
And while that idea is raised faster than I can post this, I'm throwing my pipe dream out there for the Jets to trade the 6th overall and a 2nd rd (Skins or ours, I don't care) for #1 overall and grabbing Long. Sorry Clement you're outta here in this fantasy.
Go ahead. Burst my bubble. I know I was doomed here long before I threw in the move up to #1.

    I have a prediction.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Moss (and Culpepper) in either Kansas City or Atlanta. Both teams need a QB as well as a big play option. The Falcons just signed Michael Turner today, and I'm sure they are not through renovating that offense. It's possible they draft Jake Long.

The only thing wrong with the Moss-to Atlanta scenario is that after the Michael Vick debacle, I'm sure owner Arthur Blank wants to stay away from players with questionable character issues. My feeling is he'd be crazy not to look into it. The Georgia Dome isn't going to sell out itself.

As soon as I saw the Moss/Culpepper tag team talk I thought Atlanta.
Moss smoked pot, squirted some water at a ref, and drove a few feet with a corssing guard on his hood. Hardly altar boy shit but hardly dog fighting extraordianaire. And regardless of his public statements about betrayal and hurt over Vick, if it meant selling out every game for the duration of Vick's contract and there wasn't prison bars in his way, Blank would give Vick...what it would be at this point? A third chance? A fourth. You gotta admit the guy was supportive of Vick before doggate and Vick had already comitted Randy-type infractions in about an 8th of the time it took Randy to accomplish those minor feats.

HAHAHA I'm totally agree on this, let's put up big numbers so the Pats have to dig deep to keep him. We don't need him!!!! :pats_suck:

As long as Moss leaves New England, I'll be happy.

Ive been saying it for a few days, getting Randy Moss in here for a visit, and legitimately pursuing him with the intention of signing him to a big time deal, at worst makes the Pats waste nearly all of their cap room in order to retain him, and at best he comes to the Jets, they have the best reciever since Keyshawn, and they dominate the AFC East for the season and have a deep playoff run this year, and are legit Superbowl contenders in 09'. So in my opinion the risk is way less than the Reward...

We should have signed him last year without question, though we know it won't happen this year but it would have been awesome to see it.

I wouldn't mind Moss here but the problem is that if Pennington gets benched, since they are close friends I wouldn't like to see how he'd react with Clemens being the new QB, and that could cause some problems.
